To: KE I also researched this story last night, this guy was sitting in jail when Levy came up missing. He was went on trial during the first 10 days of May 2001 and was found guilty. It is funny how the MSNBC article did not mention that this guy was caught and was sitting in jail when Levy came up missing. It should have never been put in the Levy report they did as it simply means nothing to the Levy case except the fact that other murders have taken place in the park. It just goes to show you that these reporters are not checking into the facts the write. 38 posted on 5/26/02 1:19 AM Central by brigette
The guy the MSNBC story was refering to killed a PreSchool Teacher in January of 2001, they mention this killing in the article that was wrote about the Levy Case. They did not mention that the guy was caught and went on trial during the first week May of 2001... He had been sitting in jail and was ready to go on trial at the time Levy came up missing. When you read the MSNBC story they made it sound like this guy was still on the loose or that the murder of the preschooler teacher was unsolved. This guy is not the same guy who tried to steal walk-man's off the 2 jogger in the park after Levy came up missing. I just wanted to clear that up

Ok. Sorry, I missunderstood.
Ingmar was released pending sentencing in another case when he mugged the two joggers. They kept catching him within an hour and turning him lose again.
