The last democratic convention that I watched was in 1968. (probably the first and only one as well.)

But I constantly read references to the speech that never ended at the 1988 convention.

You should probably include that year too.

Yes, I agree - but this statement: "a hint of admiration that he could get away with it" - says it all! 1992-2000 was based on allowing him to "get away with it".

And the Chinese admired him, kind of like the moral pit's do that voted for him TWICE in this country. Of course I voted for Bush Sr. and Jr. so I have nothing to brag about.
