>>an appeal to peoples envy and fear of things they don't understand<<
Henry Waxman is always saying that the .50 cal is effective against armored limousines.
I'd say he understands it very well.

They are higher caliber rifles. That only means the Bullet has a greater diameter. They do not have larger cartridges. These .50's use a similar round to the Browning M2, not the DE .50. Besides, when has this become a mine's bigger than yours discussion?

Your post is very confusing. First off, you make sexist comments about the women's appearance, then you talk about how horrible the PC Speak, neutral gender is. Hmmm. You realize that no matter which term the author had chosen, someone would have whined.

"I am constantly amazed at how attractive the standard conservative gun-loving woman is." What exactly is sexist? I think conservative men are hot and I know they don't think that's sexist.
..."then you talk about how horrible the PC Speak, neutral gender is"
What's wrong about being a marksman, fireman, policeman, etc? If I was any of those professions, I would be the first to call myself a 'stateaprofession-man'. I could care less what the term is, and I know most women on this forum would agree. I'm an engineer and am always being refered to as a he. So, should we change engineer to engineman or enginewoman? Get real. The liberals have to have something to complain about, it's the feminization of America. OH OH! Not that! Yes, you liberal whimps can't stand the fact that conservative women don't live by words, but by their actions. Your liberal tendencies are clearly showing.

The more I read of your posts WIMom, the more I like you!. (I'm a EE)
This is what I mean PMY, the correct english is not sexist. Admitting the truth (that conservative women are mostly babes) is not sexist. WIMom (and I'd hazard a guess most conservative women) would agree with me. It was only when feminazis started their "We can be men as good as you guys can" campaign that normal relations between men and women became so twisted that the whole language had to be changed (and heaven help you if you found someone attractive and said so!)

Most of the ladies on this forum who I talk to feel the same about the PCing of America. From now on, I am a member of the huwoman race. Got it? BWAHAHAHAHA

Did you know EE's put the EE in gEEk? Time for true confessions. I have never used a pocket protector. I can however use a slide rule (if I could find it in the mess called my office)

(addendum to last post)
(I'm an IE with a MBA. My hubby is EE.) Us engineers may be geeks but we are always regarded as great marriage material.

You kind of missed the point. Carrying on about the author's (a woman) diction is completely ridiculous. Not a single post in here has addressed the issue she is talking about. It isn't about how hot conservative women are, or whether it is a marksperson or a marksman don't have anything to do with anything like AB2222 or other 2nd amendment issues. If all of you would like to sit around and discuss semantics and sexuality while you hand over your firearms, have at it I suppose.
To: pullmyfinger
I agree with your statement. I have no problems with the proper use of the English language. The only problem I had was that the entire string of posts had absolutely nothing to do with what the original post was about.
