Here is an excerpt from a FReepmail from Diotima:

"Do you think the your chapter would be interested in co-sponsoring it? What that means is that you promote the event to your chapter and give them information and that you help out in someway with the conference. This doesn't mean that you actually have to have members there, although that would be great, but it means that you help us bump the conference thread and such. Please let me know if you guys are interested in doing this so I can put you on the list."
