no not routine at all. especlly sense they called in the FBI on this one!

Sorry but I think you are mistaken. I believe anytime a fire or explosion etc occurs its considered a crime scene until proven that no crime had occurred

Plus an explosion caused by explosives of any sort is ussually FBI jurisdiction.

Yes, but they would send the arson squad, not the FBI.

I am sure I am wrong :), I am as bad as everyone else just speculating on what's up.. I am cube bound too... you are right, they do call it a crime scene.. have a friend in the PD who just called...
