President Bush obviously knew about this and did not warn the residents.

If Islamic terrorists are in fact targeting apartments, it's no surprise that they'd pick a Jewish neighborhood -- which Encino largely is.

FNC is reporting that there are still secondary explosions going off. Weird. That place is trashed.

Explosion, Fire in California Residential Complex; FBI Says No Indication of Terrorism
The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (AP) - A large residential complex in the San Fernando Valley caught fire after an explosion Friday. There was no immediate word on injuries.
The blast hit the three-story building in Encino about 11 a.m., Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis said.
There was no indication of what caused the blast or of any connection to a recent federal warning that terrorists could target the nation's apartment buildings, but the FBI responded to the site.
"We have a bomb technician going to the scene with several agents, as is routine in a situation like this. But it's just a precaution. There is absolutely no indication there's any link to terrorism," said FBI spokeswoman Laura Bosley.
The building is one of many big residential complexes in the suburban Encino district about 15 miles northwest of downtown.
Outside, debris from the blast littered the complex grounds as a towering column of smoke rose over the south side of the valley.
Everett Betts, who lives in a neighboring complex, said the building was evacuated quickly after the blast. He said one evacuee was in a wheelchair.

A patch of grass has caught fire in Chaska, Minnesota!
Let me repeat ... a patch of prairie grass, IS ON FIRE, in Chaska, Minnesota.
There is no evidence, I repeat no evidence, of terrorism. Let's all take a deep breath, stay calm, and form a single file line and proceed down tunnel 3 to bunker 4a.

Did anyone ever report the cause of this explosion? I had a long wonderful holiday weekend, but was away from the news and my favorite = FreeRepublic.
