I can see it through the window! There's more white in the smoke now, they must be getting it under control.

The apartment building is in Encino, which is in the San Fernando Valley. It looks like the explosion has completely taken out two ground-floor units, plus the units on the two floors above it, and the fire has spread in both directions. I am watching live on local news.

Holy crap! Just YESTERDAY there was a note on my apt door (in Dallas) from management saying that the FBI has put out a warning that terrorists might try to rent apartments and then leave bombs in them and to look out for suspicious blah blah blah.... I hope this is just a case of an accident and not terrorism. It would be too creepy that within 24 hours of getting the note, a complex blows up...

Holy Crap....I need to reload FR faster.
Is this a gas explosion or terrorism?

Now on CNN, Sen. Hillary asking "What did the President know, when did he know it, and why didn't he defuse the bomb?"

This will of course get blown off as a non terrorist attack!!!!!!!!!!

The apartment building is in Encino, which is in the San Fernando Valley. Didn't San Fernando Valley just vote to remove themselves from Los Angeles? Interesting.
