President Bush arrived in Germany today after an early morning departure from DC. The President will be joined by his wife, First Lady Laura Bush, and their daughter, Jenna. Later this week, Bush will later visit Italy, Russia and France. Before his departure this morning, the President urged the Senate to pass the trade bill. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Hi gramho12! Good to see you!
Yep, noticed the tie tonight, too. (noticed he's been wearing many contemporary geometric patterned ties these days ...hmmmm *smile*)
This is a nice, crisp, clean cut look. George looks wonderful. I'm curious though,...are white shirts always a must, or can we get a little more "creative" there, too??? (formulating next fashion request)

#14, first picture. That guy with the Pres sure looks like security. He could watch me 24/7 and I don't think I'd mind.

See, this is what gets me. I can't ever remember any Americas EVER protesting the visit of a foreign leader like what we see when our President visits Europe. It is truly unreal.

Notice that these protestors only protest in countries like the US and such where they are protected by our laws. I say send them to Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Syria where they can do some good. That would really test their cowardly mettle!

Great picture of Laura with Jenna arriving in Berlin. I got a little blurb from Netscape about how Jenna is avoiding the press. But the AP photographer was able to circumvent Jenna's maneuverings and get 12 pictures of her on this trip. And here is what the last part of the captions said: "In the three years since Jenna and twin sister Barbara, now 20, told their father they wanted nothing to do with his presidential campaign, neither girl has warmed to public life."
Well, duh, no kidding news media. No matter what those two girls do, they can do no right in the eyes of the media. And they act as if there is something wrong with Barbara and Jenna because they haven't warmed to public life. I just contrast it with the treatment Chelsea received for eight years, and the double standard is sickening.
