The first step is to correct people who use the term "Native American" to describe American Indians (or, more accurately, Aboriginal Americans).
Whenever someone uses the phrase "Native American" in my presence, I always make it a point to claim that title for myself and my 3-year old daughter, even as I point out that all four of my grandparents were immigrants from Eastern Europe.
As a Native American, I am deeply offended by the PC assault on my native American culture, institutions and history.

I nominate the hispanic professor from Wayne State Univ who was on O'Reilly the other night saying how Star Wars was biased against hispanics. I admire his persistence. In the face of logic and information showing he was an idiot, he did not waver from his position. What a guy!

HA! That's great! You think we could get minority status from the government, and open a casino? LOL

I am glad I didn't use the term Native American. It's amazing how PC has infiltrated almost all parts of our lives.
