Dan Rather must be really pissed off right now. Here he was harping on a non-existent 9-11 coverup supposedly by Bush and now the one case that he has tried to avoid like the plague emerges in the headlines again. It will be interesting to see how Rather reports this tonight. I wonder if he will dare to mention the "taboo" name of Gary Condit.

Interesting irony you bring up about Rather. Almost like fate has stepped on him, isn't it?

I may have to actually break down and watch Captain Dan tonight. Just curious.

Let me try .. "While the White House backpedals feverishly on its dereliction of duty in '9-11 gate', a body was found in Washington D.C. today. The body may, and we emphasize may, be that of a former intern for a United States Congressman."

Meanwhile, President Bush was again on the defensive today in the 9-11 matter ....."

Condit lost the primary and is finished as a congressman. Dan Rather is now free to mention his name.

It will be interesting to see how Rather reports this tonight.

"Another problem for the Bush Administration. Police in Washington, D.C. today uncovered the remains of Chandra Levy, the former intern of right-wing congressman Gary Condit. One of the most conservative members of his caucus, Condit is a frequent Bush ally. Republican sources tonight are trying to downplay that potentially devastating linkage but ominously, the Bush White House refuses comment. For an in-depth report, we go to our special correspondent, Paul Begala. Paul, after the 9/11 Bush-knew memo and the Enron stonewall, do you see a disturbing pattern emerging?"
