I always felt that they would find her in Rock Creek Park--it was nearby and very large and overgrown. It is vacant at night and easy to get lost in. But that area was searched first and foremost (and extensively) last year--so how could "remains" (= skeleton) be found now when a less-decayed body with the scent possibly still on it be missed a year ago? Could it have been moved from another area?

The weird thing about Robert Blake is that the reports now say that he is sobbing and incredibly depressed over the fact that he faces years (or maybe life) in prison. And yet the quote he is most famous for (as Baretta) is: "If you can't do the time, then don't do the crime."

Didn't Blake's own quote come to his mind when he was plotting his wife's murder (assuming that he is guilty)?

Skeletal remains are found all over the country everyday--I am sure this is not the first (nor will it be the last) time it happened in Rock Creek Park.

For the sake of her parents, I hope it is her. Deep down inside they must know she is dead, but as a parent myself, I know my heart would be holding on to that last shred of hope, not mattter how faint or fragile.

Sad this has become a media circus before anyone knows anything other than "skeletal remains found in Rock Creek Park."

When Chandra first 'went missing' I in no way came to the conclusion that Condit was involved in any way. This happened in DC after all. People go missing and are murdered in DC more often than people would care to believe. A young women in DC disappearing is not really news there so I cut Gary a lot of slack.

What turned me against him and virtually convinced me without question as to his having something to do with it was the watch box. Gary said he threw it away in the street garbage can because of reporters going thru his capital hill garbage.

This is a blatant lie, and the accused press did NOTHING to point it out. If memory serves me right, ALL capital hill garbage is BURNED in an incinerator located in the capital building. It is burned for 'security' purposes, and as well, the fire is used to heat the building, run the boilers, etc... I could be wrong, but I think I am right. I remember seeing a show on TLC or Discovery on the workings of the captial. Not politics, but the physical workings of the building. The subway, TAX FREE store for congressman, the hidden aspects of the building like maintanence and operations, how smoking is not allowed on the House side, but is allowed on the Senate side. Oh, speaking of that. It showed either Joe Liberman or Joe Biden holding a cigarette. The host of the show said to him "You don't smoke do you?" and then which ever one it was hid the cigarette behind his back, smiled and said "no." And this was on an elevator! My memory is leaning toward it being Lieberman.

Gary knows that capital hill garbage is burned. The press knows its burned. Yet the press didnt make a peep about him accusing them of going through his garbage!

If i am wrong and they do not burn the garbage, please correct me.
