I don't knwo, but it won't matter. Florida decided the Presidential race, and the Dems will get to harp on that the rest of the way. Kiss the Senate good-bye.

Kiss the Senate good-bye.

Doubt it will make a difference. The news tonight will be the terrorist threats against NYC landmarks.

I'm waiting for someone to say this is just another brilliant political move.

Are Ashcroft's hands tied in cleaning up Justice or has he been infected with Bush's "can't we all get along and move on" virus?

Just heard on Fox the investigation started with the Clinton admin (they didn't waste any time).

You think we will take back the Senate?....I hope we do, but I am not very confident.

I doubt this Florida thing has traction. The bottom line: Even if Gore won the election (which he didn't), most people are glad Bush is President.

I dont agree; an Justice Dept investigation run by Ashcrofts DOJ is bound to focus on the sleazy, shady, and ILLEGAL voting practices that the dems participated in 2000. Its the same thing as investigating what Bush new prior to 9/11;any inquiry is going to keep coming back to Xlinton and the dems.
