US Cardinal soon to be outed as homosexual...Which one?
O'Reilly, NY Post, The Diocese Report, others... ^

On Fox tonight O'Reilly said a cardinal is about to be outed as an active homosexual. Rumor has it Bishop Bruskiwiecz sent a letter telling this Cardinal to "resign, or else..."
NY POST: WHICH American cardinal recently disclosed to insiders a confidential letter he received from a bishop urging the cardinal to resign for the good of the church? The cardinal is being urged to quit before his much-gossiped-about homosexual indiscretions are uncovered by the media . . . WHICH ranking priest of a major diocese predicted over a boozy dinner the other night that if the media outs this particular cardinal, "then the dominoes will really start to fall"?

I love the claims of inside dope. Remember Quidam? Oh, I saw the word Quidam used with the Cirque de Soleil. I still don't know what it means. OK, back to the point, what's the source of your inside dope? And do you have more inside dope?

Regarding your captions, Law is from Boston and Egan is from New York.

Cardinal Maida is the Archbishop of Detroit. You're thinking of Cardinal Szocka(?) the former Archbishop of Detroit who was moved to a Vatican position many years ago.

What do you suppose the pool-table-disguised Tonto was really up to, then?

I can just picture these "celibates" sitting aroung, getting sloshed on expensive wine, talking about how they release their sexual urges, and threatening to "out" the perverts among them. What a scene from the pit of hell! Most priests don't talk about "acting out" their sexual urges. But, some of these guys DO compensate. Like the Dallas monsignor who used to take 10% of the collection plate and go to the horse races in Louisiana.
Or the local priest who seemed to have enough coin to trade cars every six months and buy motorcycles and keep a boat on Eagle Mountain Lake.
Perversion is not always sexual.

Egan's from New York.I just realized I screwed up Law (Boston!) and Egan (New York!)when I was searching for the cardinals' jpg files. Thanks for the correction.
And, it's Egan.
This current rumor pertains to McCarrick. But I'm sure there are many other bishops, and possibly other Cardinals, though I know nothing specific.
If you see McCarrick "retire" early in the near future, you will have your answer about Bruskiewiecz and his manner of pursuing this.

I'm sure there's more than one. The game now is to decide who
isn't a homosexual. McCarrick wouldn't surprise me. He looks very nervous and shaken on television every time he is interviewed. My first guess would probably be Egan. Wasn't he Law's predecessor and responsible for all the coverups there? I think the NY libs would love nothing better than to destroy a local one.
The sad part is, out of all the pictures you posted, I'd guess maybe 2 or 3 were hetero.

Except that once elected Pope, they select a new name as Pope. For example, Eugenio Pacelli upon becoming Pope, took the name of Pius XII or Karol Wojtyla took the name of John Paul II.

I thought you were the one so heavily into reform. There
is so much coming out, it has to be for a reason,
wouldn't you say?

Well, that would be disappointing, as McCarrick seemed to be the point man on the trip to Rome. Maybe that's why.
Isn't it grand to just be a lowly layman?

I think Law's predecessor in Boston was Cushing.
