I guess they have decided this is the best tack to take, since their attempt failed. I see also Newsweek is portraying an administration in disarray, overreacting, and that Bush will have to stop being so secret.
I really, really loathe these people.
The Republican strategist (I don't remember his name) was talking about The Gore airline security report that was voted down in Congress. He said that the reason was "racial profiling."
Joe Lockhart immediately said, "the Republicans didn't want to hand Al Gore a major policy victory during the election, that's why it was voted down."
How small... How stupid... How idiotic....
I don't have the words to tell you my rage and loathing. Why does everything have to be defined by the Clinton Administration? Why would you even what to defend that man?
I'm not done calling and venting....
But, I'm with you... I simply loathe these people.
Once Hillary saw that intimidation was not going to work, and that any investigation would highlight hubby she backed off. It helps that the Pubs have Dick Cheney to come out and besides putting out the fire, to look so at ease and confident as he's grilled by Russert. Compare his performance to Gephardt's with Brit and who do you think the people will believe?
