Immediate Media Release May 20, 2002

AARLC Headquarters Ronald Reagan Building 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 700 Washington, District of Columbia 20005 Contact Person: Kevin L. Martin Govt.& Political Affairs Director 202-675-8338

African American Republican Leadership Council demands that Congressional Democrats release their voting records on intelligence funding for the last decade.

The African American Republican Leadership Council demands that Congressional Democrats release their voting records on intelligence funding for the last decade to see if a lack of proper funding contributed in not averting the 9-11 attacks on the United States. Further, that a congressional hearing be convened to determine what President Clinton knew about potential threats against the United States from UBL and his murderers and why he refused to apprehend UBL when Sudan and others begged him to take UBL him off their hands.

Congressional Democrats have sought to play election year party politics after CBS News released a leaked classified intelligence report on which President Bush was allegedly briefed on a plot by Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda Network to hijack civilian airlines. Congressional Democrats like Senator Hillary Clinton are now demanding that President Bush answer their purely political questions and want to hold congressional investigations.

The media has reported that the classified intelligence report in question was received from an overseas intelligence agency in the summer of 2001. AARLC believes the American Public has a right to know if a lack of funding over the last decade led to various U.S. Intelligence Agencies being ill prepared to adequately handle homeland security in averting 9-11.

AARLC would like to remind the American Public that these ranting Democrats today, who are now demanding answers, were some of the same leftist liberals that voted against funding for these intelligence agencies in the early 1990’s with baseless stories such as the CIA supposedly dumping illegal drugs from Central America in the City of Los Angeles.

Congressional Democrats seem to only want to limit their purely partisan investigations to the events surrounding 9-11. AARLC believes that any true investigation must include former President Clinton as well as Sandy Burger, Louie Freeh, Janet Reno, and Al Gore, since al-Qaeda did carry out attacks on The World Trade Center, Embassies in Africa, a military barrack in Saudi Arabia and The U.S.S. Cole during the tenure of President Clinton.

AARLC wants to know did a lack of funding in the 1990s to these intelligence agencies make it impossible to obtain first hand knowledge of the inner workings of terrorist groups like al-Qaeda since their previous attacks seem to catch President Clinton and Democrat operatives off guard each time. The real warning that intelligence agencies where lacking proper funding was all too clear when American Officials where caught off guard once again when both India and Pakistan conducted tit for tat underground nuclear testing in 1999.

AARLC believes that any congressional investigation must be bi-partisan and that Senator Hillary Clinton has a constitutional duty to remove herself from any such investigation to which her husband is a part, as such would be in conflict with her oath of office and her allegiance to Former President Clinton.

Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle has a leadership responsibility to see that any investigation into these terrorist attacks remains bi-partisan and free of influence from those who would seek to protect former President Clinton’s Failed Legacy of protecting the American People from such attack as 9-11 when he refused to apprehend UBL.

AARLC also demands that Congressional Democrat Leaders release all Democrat Votes on intelligence funding over the last decade to answer any key questions the public has about these matters.

AARLC stands firmly with President Bush in the American’s ongoing war against terrorism and calls on Democrats to stop using the blood of those who died in the terrorist attacks of 9-11 as an election year issue.

There used to be a website called SenateVote.com. After impeachment, I think they changed their name to CongressVote.com. or something similar. They have all the congressional voting records already done for you. Another good source is the Christian Coalition. They keep excellent records. Saves us from a lot of work.

Just a question about this. Aren't their voting records already public? Are some of these records sealed for some reason?

I don't complain about mudslinging by opponents only about the piling on by the "objective" media. If it played stories straight when one of the RATS popped off with a lie rather than report the LIE like it is the truth and the truth like it is a lie I would not complain about RAT lies. Then they would be obvious RATLIES and blow up in their faces. But the lyin' mthrfckng media hammers the GOP with the RATLIES even though they know they are RATLIES.

Even the media is coming up short now when they report the obvious RATLIE that Bush had a real warning about 9/11. Trying to fan that RATLIE into a fire blew up in the RATS and their faces.

Your point is also not appropriate since by demanding the RATS do it you take away the future lie that the material you present is false, misleading, out of context. By demanding that they do it you certify the accuracy or if they lie then can hammer 'em with the proof that they are lying. Much better tactics and not misleading deceptive or hypocritical at all.

It is called being SMART.

Yes they are public but by demanding them you force democrats to admit that intel was not on their radar screens in the 1990's

It wasn't on their radar screens in the 80s either. It got progressively worse.According to a friend of mine who was still active intell in the 90s,CNN had better resources.

What did CNN know and when did they know it? Now that would be a really interesting investigation.

The desparate dems didn't think this thing through. Now it will boomerang on them.

Short of the whole long list, it would seem to be fairly simple to research a few choice dems, like Daschle, Gephardt, Lieberman, Kennedy, and also to put figures on the final year-to-year budgets, approved by Clinton. Could be done in a few days, for publicity on the net.
