Yes, yes, everyone else copied Lucas in the beginning, because he's the master. Which makes me wonder all the more why Lucas would borrow from the people who have been running with his lead all this time. Seems like a nested plagiarism loop to me.
Lucas is, finally, getting around to making cinematic versions of action sequences that were written, in licensed 'Star Wars' novels, as much as two decades ago. That doesn't make it plagiarism on his part. He owns the rights to the material and can use it, anytime. We can all wish he would use it faster, but it doesn't make it any less his.
There's enough 'Star Wars' material in existence to make more than 100 films. That others want to steal some of those ideas and do so isn't that surprising. What's surprising is that Lucas is then accused of stealing the ideas back.
