Britain's Race Body to Help Disaffected Whites

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Commission for Racial Equality, charged with fighting bias against ethnic minorities, is ready to take in disenfranchised whites as the resurgence of the far right sends political tremors across Europe.
"Unless society begins to tackle the problems of young, disaffected white men, we will not reduce race violence," CRE Chairman Gurbux Singh told Saturday's Daily Telegraph newspaper.
"I believe that if we are to create social cohesion, we have to be concerned about all communities," he added.
His remarks showed how conditions have changed since the Commission was created, at a time when racial discrimination was seen as bias purely by whites against ethnic minorities during Britain's absorption of immigrants from former colonies. "The Commission is shifting and repositioning itself," Singh said.
The far-right British National Party won three seats in local council elections in the central city of Burnley last month -- scene of race riots which struck several cities in the region less than a year ago.
That the white supremacist party won its first ever seats in local government shocked a political mainstream already reeling from the large minority vote for right-wing extremist Jean-Marie Le Pen in France's presidential elections.
A further shock this week was the huge vote in the Dutch elections that thrust the anti-immigration party of slain right-winger Pim Fortuyn from nowhere to second place and a probable role in government in that normally liberal country.
"There are some deep divisions in our communities, often fueled not just by race but by poverty, poor housing, poor education, no employment opportunities, by people feeling that the existing political system is not seriously responding to their need," Singh said.
"Some communities, white as well as Asian and black, are inward-looking and insular. They need to change. They need to open up and become part of the wider community," he added.

I sense a little fear in this gentleman's remarks
One can only hope...
Noted somewhere in the dark recesses of leftie political correctness, is that the Islamist brownshirts are circling the Reischstag.
A quick rundown of some of the wonderfulness in the world today: The House of Saud in Saudi Arabia is hanging on to power by their fingernails in the face of an Islamic insurgency. Pakistan is about as unstable as it is possible to be without having actual rioting in the streets, largely due to Islamic insurgency. Turkey is having domestic probems directly due to Islamic insurgency. Europe is undergoing political shocks directly due to Islamic immigration. Let alone what is happening in Israel, and the reaction of Islamic interests to events there. The odds of a terrorist nuclear attack on American soil is beginning to look like a very real possibility. Can you imagine what would happen here if that happened? We would probably be living under martial law within a week.
All in all this is not looking good. IMHO the world is just about to undergo yet another great convulsion. This one is going to have the highest percentage of civilian casualties yet. I'm hoping the West has the will to survive and prevail.
Resentment against foreigners doesn't build gradually. As new people move in, you first try to ignore it, get along, be friendly, enjoy the new foods and culture. Then, all of a sudden, something happens to make you realize the world you grew up in is GONE and you're a stranger in your own land. When people realize their children will be aliens in the land of their birth, then they fight back.
Even France?
I wouldn't use the term "bottom up," because that has disparaging connotations. But certainly traditional Societies--if you go back to the basics--are created from the ground up. The Founding Fathers awareness of this, certainly contributed to their understanding of the nature of a Social compact. But then they were in a rather unique position vis-a-vis Europe, because their fathers and grandfathers had actually witnessed such creation in what had previously been a largely unsettled wilderness.
Frankly, the absurdity of an obviously Asian rooted official patronizing Anglo-Saxons in England, makes it very difficult for me to take this article with anything but a bemused wish that England still had Dean Swift--or at least a Rudyard Kipling. I am sure that as Socialist theorists go, Mr. Singh is an admirable specimen. And I do not intend to disparage his ancestry, which created one of the world's most enduring civilizations and cultures.
The sad or funny--actually it is both very sad and very funny--thing is that he doesn't even see a reason why he should not be making these statements, or serving on a board called The Commission For Racial Equality. Another funny thing is that the civilization which his ancestors created, that has in fact endured so long, absolutely rejected the notion of Racial Equality for the three thousand years immediately preceding the Socialist Government of Nehru, that came in with the British withdrawal in 1947. That is what the Caste system is all about: The complete stratification of Hindu society on ethnic bases.
I am not accusing the man of hypocrisy, for he is in England and in a Socialist (egalitarian) Government. He just doesn't have much perspective, or he would realize that he is insulting those for whom he claims to be solicitous. (Such commissions, just by their existence of course, insult racial minorities: Reducing them, in a sense, to the status of pets--domesticated household stock, because of the very point you make. And it is very clear that no one makes any permanent gains, while they are so treated.)

Did not the whites 'open up' when they allowed all the immigrants into their country?
Yes, it does look like Islam all over. But let's not be shortsighted here. The other big power bloc--the Chinese (and I'm not including the Russians, or I'd have said "the Communist bloc")--also have plans. I'd say their best plan is "let's watch you and him fight."
One wonders why we have a problem in the USofA. If the the UK can,t control 3% of their population what chance does Whitey have here in the good ol USofA.
Is France a member of "The West?"
