Nah, they aren't that clever.
Several incidents have already occurred, and they are being swept under the rug.
Now, since the feds don't have a clue, it's pretty much up to "we the people" to take care ourselves and our families and friends. This means having enough food and water around in case things hit the fan. It also means being well-armed.
One of the best things that the Congress could do immediately is to allow for federal CCW reciprocity. State legislatures could also relax their CCW restrictions on where people can carry. This would increase our national security, and lessen the chance of a successful Al Queda attack. President Bush could show some leadership on this issue, if his handlers would let him.
If an attack takes place and you have not started to racial profile and deport the foreign students you are HISTORY. If you have started and an attack takes places you will at least be able to say you are trying.
Remember Americans want instant gratification and I suspect this is what they want.
I think that the next Islamic terrorist attack might be against Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, 90-minutes away from this hotbed-home of Islam in America.
Why can I not shake this troubling question of who is leading who by the nose?
Ping!
Don't expect the Gov't to be there to stop them, they will be overwhelmed with disinformation, spread way to thin and unable to react quickly enough. Therefore each and every American must be prepared, we must be observant! Train yourself now, get professional firearms training from Frontsight, Gunsite, Lethal Force Institute, Thunder Ranch or similar training facilities. Always have a means of reliable communication with you at all times, be properly armed at all times that you can legally possess a weapon and that means carrying a concealed gun everywhere even to church like I do. When you can't have a gun or knife, have other weapon devices, a cane, a long strong shoe string in your pocket, a nylon belt, a sharpened credit card, strong metal pen, kubaton, metal flashlight etc. Have a means of recording the event, a video camera, digital camera, disposable camera and a notepad & pen, write down anything you consider strange. Wherever you go, ALWAYS be in condition YELLOW, look at everyone around you constantly, get out of the daydream distracted mode and always be vigilent! Record and report anything that you genuinely consider out of the ordinary or suspicious. Look at how someone is dressed, how they walk, what they are doing. Remember, terrorists don't wear big red "T"'s they will blend in, they will be friendly, polite and will avoid drawing attention to themselves. Look at everyone in your area while you are doing your thing.
Remember this, you and you alone are responsible for your life and safety, make a commitment and take steps now to protect yourself, remember who you survive for.
Increased chatter in the system.
Reagan National Airport is almost within a stone's throw of the Pentagon, White House, and Capitol. (Looking at a July 4 scenario, a plane crashing into the July 4 crowd around the Washington Monument would make a big mess; so would an attack on Washington's Metro.) After 9/11, there was talk of closing it altogether, not hard to see why. But now, commercial flights are back up to old levels and they're talking about letting general aviation back into it.
It's like 9/11 never happened.

NBAA Hopeful That General Aviation Will Soon Fly Into DCA
On May 8, 2002, NBAA, along with other aviation associations representing the general aviation community as well as the leadership of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and Signature Flight Support, met with Department of Transportation and Transportation Security Administration officials to discuss a six-point plan to be completed by the end of May for returning qualified general aviation operations back into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
Why?
The Islamo-Terrorists tried to blow up the WTC in 1993 - they only damaged it, but later succeeded in destroying it in 2001.
They attempted to attack the Pentagon and possibly the Capitol building in 2001 with limited success. They also attempted to blow up LA airport in a plot that was thwarted at the Canadian border.
Will they change targets? Perhaps not. The method of attack however will likely change, as it did between the 1993 and 2001 WTC attacks.
What will the new attack method be?
Unknown, but isn't it interesting that the Islamos have already attacked the U.S. by Land, by Sea and by Air. This is probably intentionally scripted, perhaps to attempt to display their reach and power.
The only thing left besides Land, Sea and Air, is Space. The Shuttle?
Tell my boss that I refuse to fly to Calif. on Monday or any other day until this vague threat has been eliminated.
Also tell my boss that I will not be in to work on Monday or any other day until all possible threats against our office building have been eliminated.
Tell my boss that I will not be answering my phone when he calls to tell me I am fired until all potential threats against the phone company have been eliminated!
All kidding aside, I am absolutely fed up with all this heightened terrorist awareness B.S.! Airport security up until 9/11 has been in effect and extremely successful for at least the past 25 years and millions of airline departures due to the potential of airline hijacking.
Sorry, I for one do not believe that further security precautions need to be taken only that the existing procedures need to be adhered to.
As I am typing this, ABC news is warning of a new heightened security alert!
"Al Quaeda "MIGHT" target apartment buildings in the U.S."
WHOA! Time to buy a house! I'm out of here!
Sorry, but the only international news I deem necessary is the ongoning situation in Israel. Another domestic terrorist act? Forget about it, it ain't gonna happen in the next 10 years.
Oh, tell my boss I will be on that flight on Monday.....
The NY Times, unamed sources -- is anybody else here trouble by that?
Oh, well, pass the gray poupon, please.
