"The report, entitled the "Sociology and Psychology of Terrorism: Who Becomes a Terrorist and Why?," described the suicide hijacking as one of several possible retribution attacks Al Qaeda might seek for the 1998 U.S. airstrike against bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan. It was not immediately known what action, if any, had been taken by the Clinton administration in response to the report."

Doesn't matter what the Clinton administration did or didn't do. The Bush administration should have totally ignored the mess of EO's and Chinese USDOD infiltration in Washington, (etc.) and spent their first seven and a half months in Washington poring over eight years of accumulated terrorist intelligence.

After all, Time magazine had an article on this report in 1998. Our government should have dropped EVERYTHING in order to concentrate on it.

I, like many FReepers, am disappointed and disgusted by the Bush administration for concentrating on trivia like US sercivemen and military roconaissance planes held hostage in hostile territory, taxes, the economy and what constitutes a living, breathing human being, among other unimportant things, when they SHOULD have been preparing for 9-11.

Oh... Time Magazine, great publication.

I'd put it right up there with Mad Magazine.

Go bite a fart!
