95? Try 92. Why? Because we don't shoot our allies, and at the time, the POTUS was an ally with terrorists.

Where are all the "peaceful" Muslims in America. We've got plenty of soap boxes ... they should be denouncing these rediculous acts of terrorism. We need to see American Arabs making citizen's arrests! We need to hear from local Law enforcement that the collaborators are being rooted out by fellow American Arabs. Even if there are only a few extremists in each city in America. We know they are there, and Arab Americans know who they are. The country cannot stand to see the left defend people who won't defend themselves.

Hillary Clinton should be outraged by now and ready to call for a full investigation!!!!!

airliner could be leased by a dummy corp. as a executive jet......a 737 or 727 packed with explosives would be more than enough.....there are plenty of 727's used as executive jets

OK, good points. However, that would require a LOT of assets being pumped through the dummy corporation over a long period of time--owning and operating an airplane ain't cheap, and people start wondering what the heck's going on when one AIN'T flying for a while, unless they park it out at Mojave Airport--and the Feds have been known to keep an eye on Mojave just because so many questionable activities, like parts theft, take place there.
The best terrorist plots have the advantages of the best military plans: speed, surprise, simplicity. 9/11 used all three.

it just touched the dems holy grail....the Clinton's... I think you have it! Let the dems make asses out of themselves. As soon as the media has whipped itself into a feeding frenzy, pull out the documentation directly linking to bubba (and her highness by default).

Remember the so-called great victory for the klintoon administration in 1999....the bombing and killing of THOUSANDS of Serbian, Roma and other citizens of Yugoslavia...just so that bin laden's allies, the kla could take over Kosovo for an islamic, taliban drug-smuggling crime haven.
Hey, ol' bin laden even helped to arm those kla basturds!!

all true but just wanted to pt. out that chartering/leasing a plane may be easier than stealing one.

The quote does not indicate a suicide hijacking, merely a kamikaze mission. The report's fatal flaw was in not realizing that the aircraft alone was an effective bomb, and that the Pentagon was not the best target to take out with a single explosive device delivered by aircraft. I think you're about the only one seeing the real point here.
The article attempts to imply that warnings were made of the possibility of terrorists using passenger airliners as missiles. This is simply untrue. It is interesting that the quoted reports refer to airplanes being used as delivery devices for bombs, while the Post article refers to airliners. Very big difference, which the Post (intentionally?) conflates.
There were warnings pre-911 of the possibility of what would essentially be flying suicide truck bombings.
And there were other pre-911 warnings that OBL was planning to hijack planes.
So what? We've known for decades that terrorists are always planning to hijack planes.
What NOBODY put together pre-911 was that terrorists might hijack a passenger airliner and fly it into large buildings.
I myself, when landing at Reagan Airport, used to think how easy it would be to fly a small plane loaded with Semtex into the White House. I always assumed it hadn't happened because the pool of suicide bombers who are pilots is a lot smaller than the pool of suicide bombers who are capable of driving a truck.
These attacks are all a bunch of cr*p. Nobody anticipated what happened. The stories being touted right now are taking several reports that are related only in hindsight and saying the governmental authorities should have been smart enough to put them side by side and draw the appropriate conclusions.
In case you hadn't heard, these were surprise attacks. Nobody saw them coming, which is why they call them that.
Our society has many other vulnerabilities. Expect other surprise attacks on them.
I'm challenging the super-intelligent among us who think the 911 attacks should have been predictable to publish their own ideas on where the next attacks will come from and how they can be prevented. Should be easy for them.
