Democrats falling into a huge trap, in my opinion, but they must think they need some slime to rally the troops, who must be tremendously discouraged about Bush's continuing popularity. This kind of congressional attack always backfires. Insinuating even in the most indirect way that the President would have let this kind of attack proceed if there were any solid warning - asinine.

Me thinks that there is more to this than we know. One confirming reason was to see Condi Rice. She looks the guilty part. Peoples expressions, etc tell a lot. The lame excuse that "who would have thunk it" is why we pay people to create the worst case scenarios. I think she could leave & GW & ALL pubbies in Congress should mount an exhaustive campaign against the socialist party leaders, the discraced impeached president - especially now that he's been bombing GW in foreign affairs & shut their skirmy mouths up. Will the pubbies do so. Doubt it.
