A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/15 and 5/16/02

This is a special double-edition daily dose due to FR being down yesterday...
President Bush and his administration were in the defensive today as Democrats and the media swarmed around revelations that the President was given a general warning about possible hijackings before September 11th. It was revealed later in the day that the very same Democrats leading the negative charge, Tom Daschle and Dick Gephardt, also knew of the briefings yet failed to let the media know. By the end of the day, it was the Republicans in Congress leading the charge and taking the Democrats to task for their usual games of partisan slander.
This afternoon, in a move to give the public more knowledge on the exact nature of the briefings, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice confronted the media with detailed national security intelligence in the months leading up to September 11th. It was made clear that the intelligence briefings given to the President were not specific or detailed enough to prevent the suicide bomber attacks.
In much lighter news, the President began the day at the First Annual National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast. Later he presented the Congressional Gold Medal to President Ronald Reagan and his wife, Nancy.

...A bit of good news, however. Anyone want those photos the Dems were so distraught over? Here's how: 1) call 202-478-4425 to order or 2) Fax name, mailing address, phone #, credit card info and amount to 202-478-4422 or 3) Send a check to: 2002 President's Dinner, Box 172, Washington DC 20013. I received this info from the RNC in response to my email. I hope sales go through the frickin' roof!... All for now. Whew....it's so good to 'see' all of you!
I have't gone thru the whole thread yet, but is there a web page page to order the pic?

I was so angry listening to that pathetic snake oil salesman that I took my portable phone and hooked up the headphones while I was painting a car, I had the booth fans going as I yelled into the phone "You're a liar, and you know it"

Thank you so much for the words. When I'm not able to get onto FR daily it is miserable trying to find a good word about our President and what he's accomplishing.
May God bless President Bush. We know that these are times that his Faith must carry him.

My words were nothing compared to some woman who called in just before me, she went through the roof and called him every name in the book.

I have a strong feeling that today's liberal feeding frenzy will backfire on them, and they will feel it in November. I think it already backfired on them. It came out later in the day that both the Senate and House Intelligence Committees had received the same briefings. Ha!
Eat crow, Gephardt and Daschle. Down with Daschle and the Democrats!

No web page that I know of. I received this info via email from the RNC. They did give an email: hgerberich@nrsc.org. Perhaps the NRSC web page has an order form.
