Well, at least they're doing something constructive and educational.
I bought tickets in advance for 6:00PM Thursday, but an opportunity presented itself to go to the 12:00AM Wednesday show, so I've had to suffer through Episode 2 twice.
No, just kidding. I thought it was great, both times.
Alot of critics complained that the obviously computer generated futuristic locations, in Episode 1, hindered a viewers ability to suspend disbelief for the length of the film. That was much less the case in Episode 2. The CGI effects in Episode 2 are nothing short of awesome.
The special effects are so good that I imagine that if the fans have any complaints, they will be that certain characters lacked the character development that they would have hoped for.
Those will be valid complaints, but in a movie that's only 2 hours long the director and producers have to make choices. I was pretty pleased with the choices they made and will look forward to the additional footage that I'm certain will be part of the DVD.
