It could take her 40 hours in another career to earn what she can earn stripping "part-time" in a week. Yup, and she might earn more money in even fewer hours than that by becoming a prostitute. Your argument does not wash. The moral upbringing of a child is just as important. Most people do honest jobs that pay less because they want to set a good example for their kids and because they have morals themselves.

I wasn't defendeing her profession. Another poster implied that it was the school's responsibility to replace her lost income. I was suggesting that it would be unlikely to be able to match her "salary" for time worked.
They did offer to provide her help (the nature of this help may have included some job offers).
