Are you insane, or just stupid?
The Bush Doctrine has been in effect since it was formulated. He has not wavered. I'm getting sick of reading your idiotic posts all over FR. You're just too filled with yourself to understand anything that's going on. If you had an ounce of common sense, you'd just shut up.

Why is it that both Sharon and Netanyahu have said that no President has ever supported Israel more than GW Bush, and that our relationship has never been closer.
You know something about the President that they don't know?!
You're the expert here. What exactly is it?!

Thanks for the ping, OWF. I pay no attention to all the armchair quarterbacks with no security briefing clearance. Bush is steady with his eye on the end game. It's better to have a patient man with a plan at the helm than a hothead who acts, then thinks.

Perhaps Bush is looking out for America's interests and perhaps the Israelis understand this. If the Israelis are so tough, why don't they just go ahead and proceed with war? Why are they always 'capitulating' to US demands? Perhaps it is a bit more complicated than meets the eye. Bush has said that Israel has a right to defend herself. Why doesn't she just do so then? Israel could wipe out the Palestinians in mere moments. Why doesn't she just do it then? Perhaps there are compelling reasons for her not to wage all out war. Perhaps Israel wants the dollars we send year after year. Perhaps Israel wants oil too. Perhaps Israel realizes that just winning a battle against the Palestinians won't win the war. Perhaps inflaming the entire Arab world against the US and Israel is not in the best interests of either the US or Israel. Perhaps it is best when cooler heads prevail.

Now who is calling whom names? Now who is stooping to insults?
Sheesh...if you don't like it when you think someone does it do you, then maybe you ought to refrain from practicing it as well.

What would you have the President do, nuke Bethlehem? The children mentioned in your link were murdered by terrorists. Can you not see the big picture? And please, "partying with Abdullah?" I don't think so.

I am in awe of your insights and sense of deduction, as well as refreshed by your intellect and communication skills.
I am so grateful to have been "pinged" to have gotten the chance to read your article.
May you send it to Rush, Sean, Bill O'Reilly, and any other conservative or semi-conservative whose voices carry messages other than yours, because their messages/positions only serve to undermine this next election, and George's after that.
GREAT JOB!!!

His true intentions are peace at any price, including more 9/11's if necessary. This statement doesn't deserve a response because it's totally absurd and irresponsible. If you want me to reply with a valid argument, post something that isn't insane. You know absolutely nothing about who the President is, or what his intentions are, but you've certainly revealed plenty about who you are by saying such inane, indefensible things.
As to the Kool-aid........hate the stuff. Ever since they gave it to me with graham crackers at Bible School. But I bet you like it lots, don't you, since you even have a picture of it to post?! HA!

"You're the expert here. What exactly is it?!"Ok, but you aren't going to like it.
The fact is Israel's politicians have to kiss a certain amount of Bush a$$ to keep him happy. Israel doesn't want to go it alone, and if they want the Bush administration on their side, this type of statement, at least in public, is required from time to time.
It also PO's the Palistinians but the Bushies just tell them that the Israelis are dreaming, and not to worry.
Observing what the players do as opposed to what they say is a better indicator of what is actually going on.

The source of your information? The intelligence briefings you've attended? The conversations you've had with Sharon, Netanyahu, or Bush?
When you give me the answers to those questions, I'll consider your opinions informed and valid.

Actually, we did all that in about three short months... it's now five months after that....Yep, and if Bubba hadn't depleted our military and overworked them so badly, we'd probably be in the middle of phase II right now. We're having plenty of those little "smart bombs" pumping out of patriotic American factories right about now. Remember, it took 6 full months to move our military into place for Desert Storm. It didn't happen overnight.
What is miraculous is the fact that we hit Afghanistan in 30 days. Think about what our military pulled off on that!

"The source of your information? The intelligence briefings you've attended? The conversations you've had with Sharon, Netanyahu, or Bush?"LOL..... If I had had any of the above do you think I would be discussing it here?;-)
At any rate, if you think I am wrong tell me where? Is there a motivation I have missed? Who has the most to gain by keeping Bush happy? Who ran a serious risk of making him unhappy by not pulling out of the West Bank immediately when ordered to? What would be a good way to kiss up and at the same time make it difficult for Bush to refute without making him appear ungracious?
Answer: An Israeli public statement telling the world what a wonderful friend president Bush is to the Israeli people. Its perfect strategy. Machiavelli couldn't have played it better himself.
Course I could be wrong, but not likely, your mileage may vary;-)

It's purely supposition on your part based on your own limited knowledge. Therefore, when it does not agree with what the leaders of the respective countries have said (and I just heard Netanyahu speak to a private audience), I prefer to believe that they are telling the truth, and that your supposition is faulty.

The "Bush Doctrine" lasted about 2 months after September 11. Then it went south. It was replaced by Son of Son of Bush Doctrine:
"You can have anything you want, but that's my final offer."
