"The source of your information? The intelligence briefings you've attended? The conversations you've had with Sharon, Netanyahu, or Bush?"

LOL..... If I had had any of the above do you think I would be discussing it here?;-)

At any rate, if you think I am wrong tell me where? Is there a motivation I have missed? Who has the most to gain by keeping Bush happy? Who ran a serious risk of making him unhappy by not pulling out of the West Bank immediately when ordered to? What would be a good way to kiss up and at the same time make it difficult for Bush to refute without making him appear ungracious?

Answer: An Israeli public statement telling the world what a wonderful friend president Bush is to the Israeli people. Its perfect strategy. Machiavelli couldn't have played it better himself.

Course I could be wrong, but not likely, your mileage may vary;-)

It's purely supposition on your part based on your own limited knowledge. Therefore, when it does not agree with what the leaders of the respective countries have said (and I just heard Netanyahu speak to a private audience), I prefer to believe that they are telling the truth, and that your supposition is faulty.
