By building the fence, he can charge more for his land. Thus, by building the fence he has increased the value of HIS land.

You're missing the point. His motivation for building the fence is immaterial; he has a right to with his private property as he wishes. These people do not have a right to tell him what to do with his property, any more than he has a right to tell them to tear down their homes. It's a simply concept, which you are evidently unable to grasp.
