I think "War of Religions" is a misnomer. Isn't europe about as agnostic as it gets? I'm sure central europe looks like ripe, low-hanging fruit to anyone with a spark of faith about anything.

our culture is too afraid to even stand up and acknowledge that there is a battle to be fought. Our time of decision is coming and we need to be ready

You know it. If Sept. 11 didn't wake this country up to what is going on, I doubt that even a "nuclear event" would. People would probably still be making excuses, urging us to "turn the other cheek" etc etc. GAG.

Yes, I defintely see an explosive situation in the making. Even though unemployment rates remain high, my experience was that most Germans were still very comfortable. (according to German standards, certainly not mine) My neighbor who was 31 years old had already worked for his company for 15 years and was giddy about the prospect of retiring in five years...LOL. I am not exactly sure what he was retiring from, as he worked far less than he was off but...And this was northern Germany-the southern Geramns think the northerners work too much. LOL

Nevertheless, my point is, when times get tough- the Germans will be looking for scapegoats-and that is when things will get ugly. You are already beginning to see rumblings of trouble. These should prove to be interesting times.

Considering the times we are witnessing and the unfolding trends, it is imperative that someone rise to the occaision.

Well, from what I saw from my perspective here in the UK is it did wake a lot of people up. All the people who are willing to think and come to rational conclusion about something. And you don't have to be an ivory tower intellect to have done that- you can just be some guy sweeping the floor in a textile mill. The ones that didn't wake up, that didn't get- we saw them on 9/11 and the days and weeks following. They were the ones that stood up and said we had it coming. They were the ones protesting against the patriotism and against a military response. They were the ones like Ellen Degeneres who said "I feel so sorry for those poor Afghanis".

They drank the socialist Kool Aid. They are true believers in the UN, Kyoto and "We are the World" for background music. They thought Clinton had been their saviour and they were safe to be left in the hands of his assistant- a mere technician- Gore.

I know I'm being super cynical, but that's the way I see it. The media had worked for decades to prepare the American public for that day when the righteous hoardes of collectivists from across the ocean arrived to dismantle our evil empire. Well, that day arrived without the collectivists- it brought heathens instead. The media is quick to change gears though- they worked with what they had- and before too long they were trying to calm us down, show us how many children and puppies would be killed if we went to war, reminding us over and over again like a mantra "America is evil, we had it coming, remain calm, it'll all be over soon". 9/11 is starting to fade in a lot of people's memories. I think about it every single day. It changed the way I look at everything- myself, my politics, my outlook on life. And I haven't grown less angry with time.

I think the fate of our nation is left in the hands of the ones who did heed that wake up call on 9/11. We've got a long fight ahead of us. We've got an enemy armed and dangerous outside our borders and we've got the leftist rot within. We cannot seperate the two. They are both just as dangerous. The terrorists want to kill our bodies, the left wants to destroy our soul. It's up to those that see this to fight it with every turn. Don't tolerate leftism. Argue with it, yell at it, drag it out into the light, if needs be- punch it in the face. We cannot allow even one more generation of youth to be distorted by leftist idealism. Our military is perfectly capable of winning the fighting war out in the world- we need to prove just as capable of fighting the philosophical war at home.

I saw a bumper sticker today that said "impeach bush" and I was going to flip off the driver but they were in the turn lane and got away. So I just pointed at it and I'm sure people saw it had to decide what they thought about it.

Everything you wrote is right on the money. It just seems that we have got a real uphill battle to fight. I haven't given up but damn it's frustrating.

But do you remember the panic in the media in the first few weeks after 9/11? The way the angry emails went pouring in and they were forced to apologize for things left and right? The way we made all of 'em wear those damnable American flag lapel pins? They were scared. The day they feared the worst looked like it had arrived- the masses had risen up against 'em.

They think they've got us back to sleep now. But there's no reason why we can't continue to be the ones to yank their leash. People have lost the intensity they had- they're sitting back to see what comes of it so far. But Conservative voices are being heard now- and even listened to sometimes. We don't have to quit fighting though. You can make a difference every time you come across a lefty. Facts and workable ideas should fall like rain on their heads- they'll get wet in the end.

It may surprise you, therefore, to learn that Muslims are the second largest religious group in England after the Anglican majority. There are some two million Muslims in Great Britain.

It may also surprise the nine million Catholics.

Speak English.

Your religion is evil. Your religion's adherents dance and celebrate when they kill us. You are savages. You have no place in the modern world. You treat your women like sh!t. You WILL BE Conquered!!! Your belief system is inferior.

Oh yeah, you won your little battle on 9/11- but you will lose the war. Islam is a dead end. You don't fit in the civilized world , you're not fit to live in it. The only thing you and your people can offer us is suffering. You will be cast out by your own deeds.

You say we're all educated in the same school? Yeah- USS Cole, Embassy Bombings, 9/11, Bali. Your deeds have educated us. We are a slow people to anger- but when we are angry, we are a force to be reckoned with. I say it is you who needs to preach to your brothers about tolerance. If you don't want to all be killed- repent of your wickedness- else you will die. You and your whole way of life.

u and your weak contradiction religion

Hmm, gee, the muslims we read about are drinking, raping, and targeting infants in strollers to be blown up. Leave a church a filthy mess, curse, delight in acts of sadism and torture, cut off heads and other body parts of children on videotape to raise money for their holy war, kidnap innocent people who are bringing aid to them.
Islam in the news....you should try learning about Christ.

LORD JESUS CHRIST, whom you deny and hide from, welcomes you even today with open arms. I will pray for you this morning at liturgy.
