The cockroaches hate the light ;they can't take the chance of the truth about the filth they are infecting the children with being known.

There is NO GOOD REASON for ANY school lesson or assembly not being open to parental and public scrutiny; both the parents and general public MUST know what is being taight to America's youth.

A St. Louis, Mo. mom is suing the public high school that blocked her from observing a school-sponsored assembly conducted by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN).

Gee, wonder what GLSEN could be teaching kids that they would want to conceal behind closed doors?

For all the warm, fuzzy FReepers out there -- who always reply that they "don't care what homos do in the privacy of their own bedroom" -- look. It's out of the bedroom!

I know this has been asked several times, but why does a political group (GLSEN) have access to students anyway?

Kattracks - you post the best stuff!
This is an outrageous example of how bold the homo agenda is getting. If what they were doing was truly good "for the children" they would not care if a parent saw it. You can bet is some kid asked them if their lesbian mom could attend they would say yes.
Good for this mom for suing. Hannity should get her on the show, O'Reilly too. Rush, talk about it please.
This is a public school right??? Then taxpayers and parents have every right to know what is going on behind the doors.

It was only a matter of time before active homosexual proselytization entered the government-run schools. They're full of kids whose sexuality is in a state of flux, powerful but not yet completely formed. It's all of a piece with the attack on the churches and the Boy Scouts, and it points in the same direction.

Yet, this isn't a new development, except as regards direct homosexual activism. Thomas Sowell's marvelous book Inside American Education reports mercilessly on instances of school systems charging teachers not to allow students to take classroom materials or class notebooks home to show to their parents. Usually, those materials were used in "values clarification" courses -- courses in which the school tries to thwart the vertical transmission of values and standards from parents to children.

Often, when parents have gotten hold of the materials from such courses and presentations, the resulting outcry has overturned an entire school board and the whole administrative hierarchy of the school. Scant wonder that those who push these non-academic programs don't want the word to get around.

You have to send your child to our school but you are not allowed to view what it is that we are teaching to her. Time to join the alliance for separation of school and state.

My oldest son is thirteen years old. I've now had three 'birds and bees' talks, where I have been quite explicit in explaining sex to him. The talks have included the physical description, how our religion treats sex, venereal diseases, the things he's going to experience as his body changes, etc. etc. He is just barely starting to experience puberty. But now THREE times, I have had to have explicit discussions with him about homosexuality. First, our Boy Scout troop was attacked (verbally) in town and a controversy ensued. He naturally asked detailed questions about that. Second, it turns out that the previous pastor of our other son's Catholic school was a homosexual child rapist (his victims have been on TV quite a bit recently). We had to explain to our children that they had to be careful being around priests in the the church. When our 13-year old asked why, we had to explain what's been going on. (And of course, he already has a good idea, given the priest-jokes going around school.) Then thirdly, his public school has started to talk about homosexuality like its normal and healthful and good. I WANT HIM TO LEARN ABOUT NORMAL SEXUAL RELATIONS BETWEEN A MAN AND WOMAN FIRST!!! STOP, STOP, STOP FORCING US TO BRING UP HOMOSEXUALITY WITH OUR THIRTEEN YEAR OLD. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

BRAVO MOM!!!

GLSEN bills itself as the country's largest network of parents, students and educators aimed at preventing "discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender/identity expression in K-12 schools," according to its website.

Preventing discrimination is not their goal

THIS IS!.....John Dunphy in The Humanist 1983 said “The battle for man-kinds future must be won in the classroom by teachers who correctly perceive their role as proselytizers of a new faith that will replace Christianity”

My son was invited to one of these "Assemblies". This one was an overnighter where the students would be locked in the school "for their own safety". I refused to sign the permission slip, however, I decided to call the school to ask what the "Assembly" was all about.

I spoke with the person who was organizing the event and she refused to tell me what would be discussed behind closed and locked doors. Once she figured out I wasn't exactly on her side of the issue, she started talking about how students with religious beliefs are the real threat and how the spreading of religion/religious principles resulted in dead homosexuals. They have plenty to hide. They are a hate group every bit as hateful as the KKK, Hamas or the Neo-Nazis and they are targeting our children behind our backs.

Welcome to the lovely world of ONE WAY TOLERANCE. Gee, the school didn't like her religious views, but everyone's supposed to be ok with an assembly of deviants?

Why should she worry?

Look what the Homosexuals have done for the Catholic Church which has survived for 2000 years,'Til the Homosexuals took over.

Any taxpayer who chooses to monitor an assembly in a public school has the right to do so.

Taxpayers pay for the schools.

However, when, at the urging of a school board member, Loveless attempted to attend the Oct. 24 event, she was ejected by an armed security guard, the ACLJ stated....

"This case is about protecting the rights of parents to participate fully in the education of their children," he said. "Parents do not abandon their rights as parents once their children go to school..."

Wanna bet? Government schools don't want parents' input, they want parents' money and children.
