LOL! My comment was in reference to a note on a recent thread about the USO and non-political. So it was my interpretation from that, that I decided it was probably the best thing for me to refrain from posting links on the USO thread to any politically oriented threads on FR. I don't think anyone had "mind control" in mind regarding that, LOL! I think we can still despise the despicable!

I agree Meek. By "non-political" I believe is meant the in depth, pro/con type debates on specific policy issues, etc that can be handled on threads dealing with those specific issues.

General comments on politicians, etc should be ok. We just don't want the thread turning into political debates. A little common sense should go a long ways to preventing that, it seems to have worked so far.
