Jerusalem, May 10, 2002 (EFE via COMTEX) -- At least seven people were wounded Friday in a bomb attack by two Palestinians in the old quarter of the Israeli city of Beersheva, authorities said. One of the Palestinians was captured by passersby and police were searching for the second man. It was not immediately clear if the Palestinians set off some kind of bomb or tossed hand grenades in the attack which occurred just outside a bank. Earlier this week, 15 Israelis died in a Palestinian suicide bomb attack in the city of Reshon Le Sion. ez/bj http://www.efe.es Copyright (c) 2002. Agencia EFE S.A. |
