You can't teach creationism without a rudamentaray exposure to Darwinism or Evolution. I think the liberal bastions of higher learning should lighten up a bit. Evolution can't be proven either. To favor one and not the other is fruitless.

How does accreditation from the American Academy for Liberal Education benefit this college?

To favor one and not the other is fruitless. Literal creationism can be disproven. Evolution can be disproven, as it is a falsible theory. It is only those who know the Truth that deny evolution. hoho

There's more evidence to support creationism than evolution.
To: JohnHuang2
Evolution provided communism with a false rational which made men accountable only to the state.

I know what you mean. I am amazingly angry at scientists for discovering evolution. Why can't we go back to the better times, when there wasn't any war, or famine, or immorality.
Darwin was born in the early 19th century, and not long after we had the US Civil War. After that, the world had WWI and WWII.
In fact, once the electric light was invented, things really got bad. Tyrants could plan their purges and famines late into the night.
The discovery of electricity and evolution are the twin curses of our time.

Thanks for the ping. I'm certainly conflicted about this one. After all, a school named
Patrick Henry is a very good thing -- provided, however, that it's a good school. I think the original PH, a devout Christian, would have been willing to embrace the scientific view of things, if he had lived a couple of generations later when Darwin's work was published. After all, ol' PH said this (in the famous "Liberty or Death" speech, March 23, 1775):
Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it. I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves ...

Looks like a letter to congressmen is in order. Threaten to take the American Academy for Liberal Education off the cash cow list of federal money and see how fast they react.

Apparently the world consists of only two groups: Bible-thumping morons and Communists. If so, the world is getting what it deserves.
