This is a pure disinformation play, just like it is too hot now to attack Iraq because the Chemical Suits are way to hot to wear.

Even if they met, there's no evidence of what they said. It's quite possible that the Iraqi rep said: "Are you f***ing crazy? Destroy the World Trade Center? No way do we want to be involved in stuff like that! That's just what Bush needs to blow us off the map--look at how they reacted when we took Kuwait".

On this one, I'm more inclined to believe Safire than Tenet. Bush should have fired Tenet long since.

Notice how this parade of pooh-poohing never has an official's name attached to it. Bill Safire says what I felt to be true. I have to learn to watch the unnamed officials angle more carefully.

Are there blue frogs in Prague?
To: Pokey78
Somewhat off-topic, but I was curious: is the Czech Republic experiencing the "joys of diversity" like their Western European neighbors are? Are there a lot of Attas roaming around Prague? If so, why?

Safire's been a lone voice on this and I believe his account. It's curious that the other "news" sources came out with the counter-account. And all at the same time. But why? Do we have Iraqi spies in our government? Was it the Democrats (same thing I guess).
