The point is that Israel had him. They had the evidence to arrest him, but were convinced by us to let him go. I have a feeling Sharon won't be listening to Bush anymore when it comes to the security of Israel. All out war is now unavoidable. The peace plan has failed.

WHO leads the Hamas?I don't know, but I would bet you that he has given many interviews to many in the Western press...

Now wouldn't THAT be a PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT!!!! I mean i'd be willing to pay a MILLION DOLLARS just to watch that IDIOT be OFFED and I can think of NO BETTER way to get a GOOD NIGHT SLEEP as well!!!!! rofl:-))))))

I don't hate the sound of it - it's time. After 9-11, after every other attack on the US by terrorist groups it's either defend ourselves or we are dead as a people and as a country. No longer can we be ignorant enough to believe what happens in Israel doesn't effect the US.

Yeah, I get those feelings too. I don't believe this is it though. This will be a colossal mismatch. Israel is going to kick butt.
If we go after Iraq, we will kick butt.
But I don't criticize you for thinking that way. I have some of those same feelings.

The leaders of Hamas are: Ahmed Yassin and Khaled Meshaal. Yassin is an elderly cleric who sets most of Hamas' religious policy. Khaled Meshaal is the "general" of the fracticious militias that make up Hamas.
Arafat has little control over Hamas and its operations, though they do consult with each other on local municipal matters.

The "spirtual leader" of Hamas is Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. However, they probably have a council of leaders of some kind.

Never got to that portion of O'Reilly. He led off with some bogus straw man fight in which to bash Jeb Bush, just to show how 'balanced' he is. Something about Florida not being completely forthright on a sensitive issue. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! O'Reilly is just an opportunist on an ego trip, he has zero credibility with me now.

the Arabs want war and want to exterminate every American and IsraeliThat's too broad, man. Extremist fundamentalists want an all out war. Saying that all arabs want us dead is like saying that all rockers want Americans dead because this all american white non-muslim college kid was putting bombs in people's mailboxes.

I am confident that we will prevail, because we have to. We have no other choice, victory or death. I just fear this is all part of that wider thing, and while I shouldn't fear it, the thought of what is to happen (eventually) scares me somewhat. God Bless
P.S. It is comforting to know though, that He has things happen for a reason; Bush is President for a reason, Sharon is Prime Minister of Israel for a reason, He does know what he is doing, and that is very comforting

You had the same idea. Thanks for the extra info. ;-)

You only know Islam from what you see on Fox News. Try getting out and meeting a few of the people that you would so casually slaughter and exile from US soil.

expell ALL MUSLIMS IMMEDIATELY from this country...Well over a million American Muslims were born here, are US Citizens,
and have as much right to be here as you.
Are you willing to declare your holy war on our own people?

..."Isreal will act strongly...." Time to take out the trash in Gaza (hamas, et al)and deliver arafart to his 72. This is for Israel to handle.
Time for the USA to get the "Bush Doctrine" back on track! There is a great deal of work to be done, lest we begin seeing assasinations/homicide bombings start here. I'M READY. Just don't know about our government.

Arafat's control over Hamas is the fact he's the president of Palestine right? The official elected leader of the Palestinian people and Hamas is given free reign to do whatever they want right out of Palestine. I have never bought the line that Arafat has no control over Hamas or any other terrorist group working out of Palestine. The fact is, he wants them in "Palestine".

I don't think his statement is as overly broad as you believe.

Noon Washington time. I have been in recurrent training this week. Tomorrow is the last day and we get out at 1130.On the 1200 news while Im mowing my lawn, and preparing to BBQ some pork chops,I want to hear about a botched arrest resulting in Arafat being killed in the process. Then I will sit in my backyard in the sun and reflect upon the fact that the World somehow seems better today.
To: Pyro7480
thanks for the info, I'll have to do some research into those two "men".
