Muslims Should Concentrate in One State

Based on the strategy of the Mormons who are mostly concentrated in Utah, American Muslims could pick one state out of the fifty US states where they could settle and win representation in the Senate with two seats and also claim Congressional seats and offices of the Governor, Mayor, and local government. The estimated population of Muslims in America in 2002 is close to 8 million. It may take an approximate one million Muslim Americans to migrate to a state such as Wyoming, Montana, Delaware, Vermont, Dakotas, or Alaska to make a significant difference. These states have a small population base, and a million Muslims moving in these states could help bring about a demographic change in favor of Muslims and their political influence.

Migration of one million Muslims out of a total population of 8 million represents an overall 12% impact, which is quite manageable. After the partition of the Indian subcontinent in 1947, Muslims migrated in numbers much larger than one million.

It will need the Muslims to have a higher clout to make a difference in the US foreign policy and curb the human rights violations in the Middle East. But migration (Hijra) of one million American Muslims would be a struggle for a higher cause rather than a manipulative step to serve self-interests.

Quite possibly... can you tell me that not a single Muslim in the US DIDNT condemn it? Do I as an individual have my total and absolute views demonstrated by my government? by my spokesman? why are we on this site if have all our views express by our leaders? Is it every Muslims fault that idiots like Sharpton came on and immediately asked for no reprisals instead of condemming 9/11? Is the opinion of many that they didn't want to condemn 9/11? maybe! But solidarity doesn't go hand in hand with asking one group of people to stand up together without the rest of America and still talk about solidarity.

There most assuredly were individual muslims. But CAIR never organized a pro-US rally - their rhetoric was alway slippery. The point is, their community leaders, spokemen(CAIR etc) always made their silly remarks about 'moral equivalency'- arab rage, colonialism, israel, etc. - treating and viewing 9/11 as something that was understandable given the great rage in Araby.

I bet that the state they went to would generate no large scale mining industry, no tourism, no world class medical research facilities, no significant universities, and no significant agricultural production, and certainly no mini-Silicon Valleys (like Utah).

I wouldn't be so sure. Muslims immigrants to the U.S. (unlike many European countries) tend to have a pretty high education level on average. Pakistanis (the most numerous Muslim immigrant group in America) have the highest of any immigrant group period, or maybe second only to Indians (I think the two groups are essentially equal).

And I don't disagree with you on that at all. But because those slippery little punks wanted to find excuses doesn't mean that they have to organize a rally against 9/11. I'm just saying they could of condemned without organizing a Muslim rally.. do you understand the difference? If you are going to call it solidarity then if you want to put it in terms of community leaders organizing it.. you should have the major Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities marching together intermixed with each other.. to have just one group isn't showing solidarity with America.
