Just in: Netherlands: Pim Fortuyn Assassinated!

Pim Fortuyn, Dutch right-wing politician, has been shot by an unknown gunman. Between three and 6 six were fired. Gunman still at large. Fortuyn was shot when leaving the Radia 3 studio.

He was heavily wounded and was transported to hospital.

De Telegraaf is reporting that Pim was afraid and had expressed concern that the LEFT was fanning flames of hatred by placing him in an extreme right wing position. He had received extra police protection in Rotterdam after written threats.

One suspect is being held.

he was talking about his security just 4 days ago
then a man comes up to him and to the surprise of the
media embraces him. Surprise the man was black. This
is what scares the left their old certainties are

Fortuyn was leaving the Radio 3 studio after a 2 hour radio show where he was invited to co-host. He was shot while leaving that building.

Fortuyn may be no longer with us, but he still is in our thoughts and spirit.

I don't speak Dutch, but knighthawk speaks English. He's welcome to stay here in Wisconsin, although, he'd like a warmer climate. Still, he could see the state and September is when the leaves start changing. Plus it's Packer season!
