LYNN CHENEY: EMBARRASSMENT OVER OZZY FUSS AT WHITE HOUSE DINNER

**Exclusive**

VP wife Lynn Cheney told associates she was "embarrassed" by the commotion surrounding thrash rocker/MTV star Ozzy Osbourne's appearance at this weekend White House Correspondence Dinner in Washington.

"He's hardly someone we should be applauding... not a role model, I am rather embarrassed," Cheney said after the dinner, according to sources.

Osbourne's presence at the Washington Hilton on Saturday night cause a complete sensation. The rocker's Tuesday show on MTV has become one of the most-watched shows on the air among teens.

Cheney has been an outspoken critic of rock and rap lyrics marketed to youth.

Last year Cheney took on rapper Eminem, calling his music "the most extreme example of rock lyrics used to demean women, rock lyrics used to advocate violence against women."

"The thing about Ozzy is, he's made a lot of big hit recordings: "Party With the Animals," "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," "Face in Hell," "Black Skies'' and "Bloodbath in Paradise,'' President Bush joked in his speech before the association.

Osbourne lyrics include from "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath": "God knows as your dog knows; blast all of you. Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath, nothing more to do. Living just for dying, dying just for you."

In the 1983 song, Bark at the Moon, Osbourne recited : "Howling in shadows Living in a lunar spell He finds his heaven Spewing from the mouth of hell."

Have you joined the Fan Club yet and received your "official" Ozzy bat-head key chain?

Hey folks -- come watch the real life Gomez Adams...

But really who could give a rat's @ss about Ozzy Osbourne and his freakish brood of mutants? Lynn Cheney recognizes this moron for those he represents -- boob-tube boobs.

I don't doubt your political affiliation, seven. Your style of posting takes much time and energy to understand though. Perhaps you could add a few periods and commas.

It is nice there is one grown up not looking to make a hit with a voting bloc in the administration!

some idiot "brain-trust" at the RNC cancelled their appearance because they thought the Beach Boys were too "wild and radical" for a appearance at a Republican event, and that it would "look bad"?

Personally, I'm a fan of Brian Wilson's music from the '60s (Pet Sounds, etc.), but the Beach Boys' singer Mike Love actually is known for his left-wing environmental views. Maybe that's why they were dumped. I remember back around '83, Reagan's interior secretary James Watt tried to block the Beach Boys from playing at the Capitol Mall because they supposedly attracted a "bad element." Watt took a lot of heat for that and eventually backed off. Could this be the incident you're talking about?

I thought I spotted jungle lingo.

Personally, I think it's fine for Cheney to speak her mind on the issue. Ozzie's riding a wave right now that's somewhat of a Jerry Springer/Real World/Behind the Music/Reverend Jim-from-Taxi Wave.

It's actually quite entertaining, but the "f-ing" this and that gets tired.

-Out.

The fact of the matter is that Ozzy Osbourne glorifies WORSHIPPING SATAN, COMMITTING SUICIDE, and USING DRUGS. He should NOT be invited to the White House. There is NOTHING funny about this man.

So when do we see the Jack Chick comix story about this theme?

I wonder if his hot wife is doing somebody who can actually perform the act, now that Ozzy appears to be about 90% disabled.

Could it be Bob Dole since he is "up" for the task ever since popping Viagra?

Ozzy Osbourne 'invited to White House'

Its a good thing that nonsense like this stopped when Bill Clinton left office. What's next? Close ups of Dubya's "package" ?

It might also have had something to do with Brian Wilson having totally fried his brain on psychedelics by that time. You are right, James Watts was the one who wanted to pull the plug on the Beach Boys, Reagan overrode him, he always had a more accepting attitude toward human deviance.
