[history]
A California state senator plowing through boxes of subpoenaed Enron Corp. documents has finally unearthed a smoking gun, the first tangible proof that energy traders tried to manipulate the price of electricity amid short supplies last summer.
One problem: The evidence doesn't implicate Enron so much as the managers of California's electricity grid, whose Folsom-based trader was caught red-handed trying to game the market. In a bizarre twist, it turns out that the state-created Independent System Operator, or ISO, was the one rigging the price of power, not the evil private generators who everyone suspected.

Expect the writer of this to take a long walk on a mountain lion infested path, soon.</b? I understand that Dan has turned down several offers to meet with Davis and to take a walk on some of those paths NE of Sacramento.
Wonder if there is any truth to Davis sending Dan Tee Shirts dyed in sheep blood to take these walks.

We need to find a picture of Davis with a Nixon pose and sneer and put it on FR and bumper stickers,
"I'M NOT A CROOK!
STOP CRIME! DEFEAT DAVIS!

I just got back for DC and talking to my congressional delegation. My Congressman, Jay Inslee's cheif energy staff person, when we discussed energy deregulation said to me on Tuesday, that the Washington Post was carrying a smoking gun story about how Enron had been caught trying to game the market price. I told him that I was more concerned about some of the actions by the DWR and how I felt that neigher Enron nor the State of California had totally clean hands.
He glared at me, because the "democrats" still hope to make Enron into a political campaign re-election issue this fall. It is still part of their national strategy! That means articles like this in the Sac Bee are critical to keeping the dem's out of power! I will try to send a copy of the sac bee article to my congressman's staff person.

This information was the basis of the article in the Washington Post that my congressman's staff person was referring to.

Enron is a convenient whipping boy now. The Grayists will escape unscathed because the Dems are effectively tieing all the problems to the Evil Enron Empire. The California public nods its head in sheeplike agreement.
BTTT!

I wonder if the Evil Dums in D.C. are going to see how many phone calls ole leftie Gray made to these guys. Or is it going to reach a point where the Evil ones just say.....NEVER MIND.
