WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush and top members of his administration mingled and shared laughs Saturday with Washington reporters, insiders and some outsiders -- including famed British rocker Ozzy Osbourne -- at this year's White House Correspondents dinner.
Comedian Drew Carey was on hand to provide the entertainment during the more than three-hour event, doing stand-up comedy for the president and more than 1,800 guests, from top White House adviser Karl Rove to hard rocker turned reality show star Ozzy Osbourne.

This war will last as long as the War on Poverty and the War on Drugs has lasted/will last. Things won't ever revert back to pre-9/11. Terrorists will always pop up and they will always know that because of 9/11, it's possible to pull something off. We'll always have to be fighting terrorists. They aren't a standing army that we can beat and force an armistice on them. We can't "defeat" them-- they're like weeds you must kill every spring.

Actually in the South (where skulls full of mush appreciate guns as much as Ozzy), Bush carried the youth vote.

What if they do? Why does it matter? Can't Bush have friends? Why can't he be friends with someone who hates liberal anti-war protesters as much as he (Bush) does?

I see the first link has an error in the lyrics...
Would you like to see the Pop, on the end of a rope
Should be "Pope"...

Ref #54 True. Supposedly his wife Laura calls him "Bushie". I suppose this is also a derogatory name. You people need to lighten up. Dubya is not a God-like figure. Oh, did I say Dubya? I suppose that is derogatory too. Get real.

President Bush and top members of his administration mingled and shared laughs Saturday with Washington reporters, insiders and some outsiders -- including famed British rocker Ozzy Osbourne -- at this year's White House Correspondents dinner. As Klintoon entertains thoughts of being an entertainer (LOL) by mingling with Hollywood, maybe Mr. Bush entertains thoughts of really wanting to be a 'British rocker'.
IMO, Bush is intentionally distancing himself from his core conservative base.
This Osbourne guy (?, thing?) looks Satanic at best. One sick individual.

Like I said earlier, our boys are over fighting for our Freedoms and the shrub is partying it up with the likes of Ozzy Osborne and the MTV crowd, trying to appeal to all the young skulls full of mush. It won't work and this strategy is disgusting.Well, I'm 38 and a huge Ozzy fan. And it takes more than a skull full of mush to do my job. You sir, need to lighten up. It must be painful walking around all clenched up every day.

This Osbourne guy (?, thing?) looks Satanic at best. One sick individual.LOL Ozzy has spent most of his lifetime pulling off that act for dupes like you, and you've bought it lock stock and barrel. You've probably helped him to sell a few more records by playing along with the act that is his image.
Oh, and Ozzy thinks you look gay at best, so I suppose you two are even now. {;-)

Ozzy Rocks!....... Prez Bush Rocks! .......Since 9-11, I have joked, laughed, cried, had parties and generally lived it up.......fully enjoying every moment of life I have and those I have it with........I learned from 9-11.......
And, I appreciate every soldier willing to die to protect our freedoms.....Soldiers who also laugh, joke and party.

I really don't see how you could act as a spokesman and an apologist for O.O.
But tell us, is Osbourne pro-gun and self-defense in England?

"The year before Bill Clinton put together a farewell video, in which the former president pretended to be at loose ends in the final lame-duck months of his presidency. " LOL! CNN can't help looking back to better years... in their opinion.
I'm surprised they even mentioned President Bush.
BTW: that joke on Hillary sneaking in the back of the WH in a burqua was my favorite!
An excellent job was done by the president, and Drew ("so it's taking them a long time to get Osama... heck, it took them a year to get Robert Blake- and he was right here all along!"

Huh? What exactly does "looks Satanic" mean? He looks like "Satan" or he looks like he admires "Satan?" What do you think "Satan" looks like? The little devil on the box of Red Hots? And what does a "Satanist" look like?
Then, you refer to Ozzy as sick. Why? How is Ozzy "sick?" It is unbecoming to pass such uninformed judgement on another's appearance. I could look at a lot of people with wife-beater T-shirts, Camero, mullet, belly and moustache and say "Inbred....white-trash at best." I would not always be right.

Now I realize President Bush must attend these events, but I, too, don't think he should acknowledge this type trash. From what some have said, this man (Osborne) has become a changed man after he had children - well what about all the other children he has corrupted. Yes, President Bush should always be polite, but to address him from podium was not necessary and he should not have done that.

You're really stuck on this Osbourne thing. Birds of a feather. The first picture of Osbourne I have ever seen was this morning on FR. Here's O.O. dressed in his best for a event with the President of the USA and he looks like so much scum.
If Osbourne doesn't want people to think ill of him, he should look and dress in a more conventional way and show respect to the President. But the truth is he's scuum and you are taking sides with him.
Just in the few minutes I took to read about O.O., I found out he's a profane exhibitionist. He gets up in front of a bunch of orks and makes noise and calls it 'music'.

BTW, I will judge. I will and already have formed an opinion on this dirt bag.
As for Satanic, I have seen pictures of satan worshippers dressed in similar manner. Please reread the title of this thread. The poster is associating O.O. with "Darkness".

Just in the few minutes you took to read about OO, you have decided he's scum. Wow, what an open-minded person YOU are! You see one picture and read a few lines about a person and you have it ALL figured out. Good for you. I bet you feel all superior to the rest of us because despite all the info we have and know, after years of following him, we haven't figured out what you have in just a few minutes.
You know, a person with a superior mind like yours should really come in handy in the war on terrorism. I mean, you could probably read a two page field report and then tell us what their next move is. Don't wait until the office opens tomorrow morning, call the FBI today!
To: CWRWinger
Yes, if your vast reading on OO hasn't uncovered this little fact yet, that's what Ozzie refers to himself as. It's tongue-in-cheek for those unable to grasp nuances. Anyone who knows about Ozzie knows it is an
ACT,.
You know, like WWF.
