i still don't get that union. mary matalin has made a pact with the devil. it's more than politics--it's a life view, philosophy, the whole of who you are inside. how can mm live with that? it makes me question who she really is inside.
You'd be surprised-- there are plenty of FReepers in the same boat as Mary Matalin (married to a Democrat). Some folks down South take college sports very seriously, but marry people who are superfans of a rival school. I take Mary at her word when she says she love him (why in the world besides that would someone marry Serpenthead).
They may very well agree on how to raise their children, and both are pro-choice, so they have things in common. They both might even be fans of LSU athletics.
