I agree, Israel should start their own propoganda campaigns to Palestinian citizens letting them know about what their leaders and those their leaders prop up have done, have not done and support. Unfortunately, that will only go so far. As long as school children are taught clear cut hate for Jews, as long as clerics in Palestine contiune to spout the line that being a martyr will being them into God's good graces and with Arafat and his minions screaming Nazi Nazi Nazi at every turn - the tide of public opinion will be hard to sway.

Not to mention that some in the west reinforce the negative teachings as well.
