Where Every Day is Sept. 11 (Website shows gruesome WTC photos)

The image is titled "wtcsplat.jpg." You get the idea. Other video clips on the Internet show a series of people leaping to their deaths from the burning World Trade Center -- to background music of "Free Falling" by Tom Petty.

Don't think this has been posted. I did a search and came up nil

The motto of Klinker's Web site is: "Can you handle life?"

I know what website this story is about. I've seen these photos and they are gruesome.

One thing I never knew, but learned from the recent thread about the "WTC Survivor's Story", was that people were jumping from the North Tower before the second plane ever hit the South Tower. People in the South Tower were watching out their windows as people jumped from the North tower. I always wondered how many people were looking out the windows of the two towers directly at the planes coming straight at them as they sipped their coffee.

I read about that on the PBS Nova website about the recent "Why the Towers Fell" special they aired.

Excellent special, BTW.

But I know what story you are talking about. A young lady (who later perished) was telling the survivor (one of four who lived above the crash site) how terrible it was to watch and he replied that, yes, people are dying.

I couldn't imagine how awful it must've been.

I've been to that site too. They're not showing anything that hasn't already been published by the mainstream media, unless I'm missing out on some super-secret page hidden even from the regular visitors to that site. Most of the photos are simply of people in mid-fall after jumping; unpleasant, but not GRUESOME. There are only two truly yucky photos there; both were published in the New York Daily News the next day, and the one purporting to be of a dead body is actually that of a Daily News photographer writhing in pain on the floor of a deli. Some debris fell on him and broke one or both of his legs, so some firemen carried him into the deli until paramedics could arrive. He's fine now.

The gruesome pics are the two pics showing WTC jumpers *on the pavement*

Sure, they are covered with sheets, but there is still a lot of gore laying about that is visible. These people were also covered with a few sheets as their bodies came apart on impact.

I hadn't seen these pics anywhere except this website.

I just checked the site and it appears that those pics have been removed.

But they were there and I have seen them.

THE ACT THAT CREATED THOSE PICTURES IS WHAT DISTURBS ME!

Yes! I honestly believe that we were censored from the truly graphic pics in an effort to control our collective rage.

This is f***ed up!

I don't want my rage controlled or limited. I want it to fester and boil.

Americans are quickly losing their appetite for vengence. 9/11 is becoming a distant memory for many. Ground Zero is all but sanitized. We are losing our focus. Just look around: Crying over the poor Palestinians (they danced in the streets on 9/11 --another censored image). Bush's Appeasment of the Saudis (who blessed us with 15 of the 19 hijackers). Islam wants us dead and we are treating them with kid gloves. It makes me seeth!

The irony is that the western world reacts to 'arab rage' and kowtows, coddles, and kisses their butts because the Arabs might have riots in the street... we are endlessly shown 'poor terrorist' photos from Jenin... but when it comes to American rage, why, we are kept in check by being kept in the dark, and so American politicians are more likely to listed to the Arabs demonstrating in foreign streets than they are to American citizens. The US ought to use some 'American rage' to scare the he!! out of the Arab world for a change.

Perhaps if those towel-headed nutjobs got a good look at enraged Americans, had the snot scared out of them when seeing a wall of POed people ringing THEIR embassies in Washington, they would wake up.

It's so aggrevating I don't even know where to begin. We can't even muster the courage to kick these people out of our own country!

Before we can beat the mohommedans into submission, we need to put some backbone into Americans. I hate to say it but we (and the Western World as well) have become a nation of softies. We have liberals here and abroad who are defending a people who, if in power, would hang them first!

It's so mind boggling my head spins! One would have thought that 9/11 would have hardened us a bit. But how could it when we were treated as children when dealing with it?

Sadly, I honestly believe that it will take at least another major terrorist attack before we, as a culture, can even begin to grow a spine (I'm speaking in generalizations of course).

I am too. That's why I posted this article.

The SF Chronicle makes it sound as though this guy was wrong to post these images. I think it's just the opposite. What's wrong is it takes a Dutch website posting Spanish news clips to give Americans the only "hard" images from 9/11! Our media has effectively purged all of this. And the Chronicle is making this dude out to be the bad guy!

Screw all that!

I'm no blood and guts freak (well, actually I am but that's besides the point) but these images should be at the very least made accessable. I understand there are those that do not wish to see them. That is their prerogative. But don't hide them from those of us who use them to keep the fire in our bellies burning and the hatred in our hearts strong.

Seeing Americans jumping to their death fills me with rage. This rage makes it easy for me to smile when I see dead mohommedans.

I never smile, per se, at the news of a dead mohammedan, but, i will admit that i am always relieved when i hear of it. Always i think, 'Thank you, Lord, one less terrorist to spread Satan's evil and destroy the lives of innocents.' This, in itself, reflects the indelible scar that the arabs have left; never before in my life did i sigh relief at the news of someone else's death. So, while i was fortunate not to be in NYC or D.C. or PA that day, their evil has impacted me, as well as anyone with a modicum of moral clarity. Anyone who chooses not to acknowledge it, imho, is walking on very precarious ground. It's fear, i think, that prevents people from facing the truth about what the long-term goals of the 'religion of peace'. Fear of the truth--not fear of confronting the terrorism headlong--is what will bring more terrorism to our front-door.

9/11, for us, should never be forgotten, nor should we overlook and forget what atrocious acts against humanity these monsters have committed (and continue to do so daily) in so many other countries, including India, the Phillipines, Israel, Indonesia, etc., etc.
