This pic sez it all doesn't it? I too am staying in a healthy pissed-off state. Tick Tock, Tick Toc...

I am too. That's why I posted this article.

The SF Chronicle makes it sound as though this guy was wrong to post these images. I think it's just the opposite. What's wrong is it takes a Dutch website posting Spanish news clips to give Americans the only "hard" images from 9/11! Our media has effectively purged all of this. And the Chronicle is making this dude out to be the bad guy!

Screw all that!

I'm no blood and guts freak (well, actually I am but that's besides the point) but these images should be at the very least made accessable. I understand there are those that do not wish to see them. That is their prerogative. But don't hide them from those of us who use them to keep the fire in our bellies burning and the hatred in our hearts strong.

Seeing Americans jumping to their death fills me with rage. This rage makes it easy for me to smile when I see dead mohommedans.

I never smile, per se, at the news of a dead mohammedan, but, i will admit that i am always relieved when i hear of it. Always i think, 'Thank you, Lord, one less terrorist to spread Satan's evil and destroy the lives of innocents.' This, in itself, reflects the indelible scar that the arabs have left; never before in my life did i sigh relief at the news of someone else's death. So, while i was fortunate not to be in NYC or D.C. or PA that day, their evil has impacted me, as well as anyone with a modicum of moral clarity. Anyone who chooses not to acknowledge it, imho, is walking on very precarious ground. It's fear, i think, that prevents people from facing the truth about what the long-term goals of the 'religion of peace'. Fear of the truth--not fear of confronting the terrorism headlong--is what will bring more terrorism to our front-door.

9/11, for us, should never be forgotten, nor should we overlook and forget what atrocious acts against humanity these monsters have committed (and continue to do so daily) in so many other countries, including India, the Phillipines, Israel, Indonesia, etc., etc.

On September 11, the spanish news broadcasts were showing the jumpers live; not everyone's taste and i could not understand the voiceover (didn't need to anyway).
Agree with you, i don't think these types of pictures should be hidden. It's a question of choosing to view or not. The whole culture now seems bent on sugarcoating and forgetting. I don't want to and i do not think we as a country should either.

If the images from the holocaust had not been broadcast, if the pictures of mass graves, bodies piled on top of bodies, ovens filled with burned bones and the pictures of people who managed to live through it had not been release, would the world have realized just how brutal the Nazi's really were?

Censoring the pictures from the WTC attacks does nothing but allow the public to go their merry way feeling sorry for every little person in the world who screams about some violation to them and using terror to "correct" it. Too bad, it's reality, it happened and it's not pretty. Personally, I think they should have been shown, in all their graphic detail every day since 9-11 simply so people will not forget.
