Nobody ever said "Hey those poor Germans deserve Danzig" after WWII.
Since when must the VICTIM be the ones given the moral high ground?
Even if they are the ones making themselves victims and their methods for acheiving their goals (even though we know their stated goals are horsesh!t) are what should make them international outlaws?
Question: Palestine is such a lovely word. What does it mean in English?
Oh wait! It is English.
I think in Hebrew it means Israel.
the Maine?
I agree. As long as they reject the God of Abraham and Jacob, they cannot expect blessings from Him.
I also know of the Middle East History, as I used to work and live in Israel, Jordon, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, so I think I am more than able to comment, unlike some of the participants in this thread, who are armchair viewers and may not have been outside of their state, never mind their country.
I do not agree with killing of anyone, young or old, on either side, but taking only one view, which is what I see from the US media, does not help anyone and ensures the rest of the world will think the USA is biased.

< 2. Affirms further the necessity
(a) For guaranteeing freedom of navigation through international waterways in the area;
(b) For achieving a just settlement of the refugee problem;

Adopted unanimously at the 1382nd meeting.
"The G" writes: " I've thought quite a bit about how the Saudi acting-king, Abdullah, rages and fumes about the Israel/Palestinian "situation." No one brings out that those Palestinians who settled in Saudi were never allowed Saudi citizenship. Their children are not allowed Saudi citizenship. They are forced to remain papered Palestinians. They are not "assimilated" into the culture. If they want to do business they are required to pay an enormous portion of any profit they make to a designated friend of the king who does NOTHING for them but accept the money. Man! What glory to be a friend of the king in Saudi.
The entire middle-east treats Palestinians just the way you've (Matchett-PI) described it: as cannon fodder. They are the "n*****s" of the middle east. The Palestinians we know here are looked down upon by other middle easterners and considered "trash."
One man I know was, as a youth, in love with a Saudi young girl. When they both were old enough, he went to the girl's father and asked to marry her. He was refused because "You don't have a country. You have no way to support my daughter. You don't even have a 'home' where she can live."
So...when thinking about the righteous outrage affected by the Saudi leader, remember that he speaketh with forked tongue. He is no friend of Palestinians.
A Lebanese friend of our said that their country made a terrible mistake with the Palestinians, too. Instead of welcoming them, the way Americans welcome those from other cultures, and helping them to settle and become Lebanese citizens, they isolated them in refugee camps. "We put fences around them, then we dumped our garbage over the fences."
He said they should have learned from American to let those people who come use the best of themselves to strengthen the country, rather than the worst of themselves to destabilize it.
Of course we've taken in some who have done terrible things. But, for the most part, those who have come have brought their very best, have taught us so much and have expanded life in creative and valuable ways too numerous to even begin counting. Are we congratulated for our good fortune, or vilified for our stupidity? Doesn't matter. We're laughing all the way to the bank! It is because "we understand" that we didn't copy Europe in general and France, in particular, in mean spirited violence.
GOOD THINKING!!! You know, there untold billions of mosquitoes too. We have infestations of Fire Ants, and I hear Killer Bees are on their way up from Mexico!
Using your logic, we need to scramble, and fast!!!
Top strategies:
1. Recruit and train special human donors to free the rest of the population from the pests.
2. Accept a "flesh tax" of 15%/year for every man, woman and child.
3. Care to add your own???
I don't know about you, Phil... but your argument of a billion angry moslems smacks too much of paying ransom as hostages. You can do what you want, but I am not going to be held hostage by the animals. Otherwise, you will then need to pay off every other blood sucking angry constituency on the planet.
I wish you luck, but don't get in my way.
And what did you do, quit reading the Bible at Deuteronomy??? Shirley, you know that in 2nd Chronicles (the last book in the Jewish Bible) GOD gave his last command to the Jews to GET BACK TO ISRAEL, PRONTO...
Everybody's a Bible scholar these days...
Huh??? What sovereign, patriotic American gives a flip about what some communistic united nations says, thinks or does??? Why don't we ask what Saddam Hussein or Michael Jackson thinks about it...Or Rosie O'Donnell for that matter...That would be just as significant...
