There's an "Errata" section at the bottom of the article, which I've deleted for the purposes of posting here. It deals with a previous article by the same author.

Europeans have for centuries also perpetrated the most horrific crimes against their Jewish minorities: in fact the word pogrom is of Russian origin, meaning havoc. Incidentally, opinion polls show that among the major white countries (see The Economist dated April 20, 2002) only the Americans support Israel to any extent. Europeans support Palestinians, yet they were among the loudest complainers when Palestinian terrorism impinged on their territories: example the attack on the Munich Olympics. NIMBY, I suppose: not in my back yard.Given all this, I think Indians would be well-advised to take the Europeans' expressions of horror with a very large pinch of salt. It is all fine and dandy to shed crocodile tears at no expense to oneself -- a lesson India's 'secular' 'progressives' have learned all too well. At a time when India's GDP at purchasing power parity has grown to be the fourth largest in the world, after the US, China, and Japan, these European minnows matter less and less. We should treat them with the contempt they amply deserve.
AHAHAH! Wonderful...the Indians really know how to put some skank in it..

Heh, that happens to me also AM2000. Did you see India tested a new cruise missile? It has been fairly quiet between India and Pakistan lately except for Musharraf's "election." Anyway, they are still at a standoff seeing who can last the longest in an expensive buildup along eachother's borders. Maybe this summer Pakistan will give and allow India to claim victory.

Good post. It's fun to watch Indians turn the tables on the Brits.

As Muslim populations rise to levels near 10%, Islamist jihadi ideas, self-imposed separateness, unemployment, and general ghettoization are creating a permanent, dangerous, belligerent, anti-national underclass. The challenge to the nation-state from the idea of a transnational Muslim ummah or brotherhood is substantial. Amazing. Can you imagine reading these two sentences in any of the uncensored American newpapers or newsmagazines? Or rather, can you imagine such heretical thoughts expressed anywhere in a public place in this country, outside of our cozy reactionary environs? And then, even in the reactionary fascist caves you'd risk being accused of that capital crime of "racism", I'm afraid.

Marvelous, should be required reading for all those Europhiles and apologists for the socialist eurotrash and their policies.

More about those two sentences in # 10.
The author really nails it there. In the two sentences he pretty much defines the situation in Western Europe. This is the elephant in Europe's living room, which drives the Euroweenies to pointing their fingers at the Jews, at the Neo-Nazis, at Le Pen, while shaking in their panties at the unthinkable coming disaster.

I argued that the trajectories of Hindu/Sikh and Muslim immigrants to the UK are very different. Many Hindus and Sikhs prospered through education and through integrating themselves into the mainstream, despite much racism. But Muslims, on average, whether from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh, remained isolated [...and... ]Their children have now turned to terrorism or to lumpenization...Ah. So militant "Sikhs" in Britain or "Hindu" militants in Britain don't exist? (Or for that matter "Christian" militants) Look, the reality is that if you know people from these religions you can tell that they are actually quite normal people. Generalizations hurt the innocent.

You're right about other types of Indian militants in Britain (and elsewhere.) It would also be helpful for the writer to acknoweldge that the Hindus and the Sikhs have been many years at war with each other, which led to at least one international jet being exploded. Muslim and Hindu Indian immigrants are not greatly different from each other. And in Fiji, a nation where they have been subject to inequalities and persecution, there are no tensions between them - the awful hostilities of the sub-continent do not exist.

Yes its funny. The left wing Frenchmen go to the streets and protest because Le Pen got 17% of the vote but they were silent when Jews and their places of worship were attacked in France.
