He really is a very sweet kid, we didn't go thru' the typical teen/hormones "angst" with him. He has his "bad" days, yes, but in general he is such a pleasant kid to be around...I often wonder what he would be like if we had left him in public school, he had such a tough time there, being a gentleman and smart was NOT a good thing

I was blessed that way too. We only have one child, but she's always been easy. Just a brief blip with the hormones, but we seem to be past that, and she's smart as a whip (tell CC she's pretty too). Sometimes I think if I had it to do over again I would join the homeschool movement, but she's in high school, and would not take a positive view of staying home with mom at this late date. Now that she can take advantage of AP courses most of our concerns about the lack of difficulty in the curriculum have been put to rest. My next door neighbor homeschools and has two of the smartest, most personable kids I've ever met.
