I was blessed that way too. We only have one child, but she's always been easy. Just a brief blip with the hormones, but we seem to be past that, and she's smart as a whip (tell CC she's pretty too). Sometimes I think if I had it to do over again I would join the homeschool movement, but she's in high school, and would not take a positive view of staying home with mom at this late date. Now that she can take advantage of AP courses most of our concerns about the lack of difficulty in the curriculum have been put to rest. My next door neighbor homeschools and has two of the smartest, most personable kids I've ever met.

OOO--I will pass along the "pretty daughter" info to CCTeen (as soon as he gets home--college classes this AM)
AP classes are great -- and I know what you mean about not pulling a kid out when they're in high school...my oldest son finished out his schooling in "gov'ment" schools, he was a senior the first year we homeschooled and was doing well. And he's turned out just fine--no weird tics or anything (LOL)\
