Joined by gubernatorial candidate Bill Simon, President Bush continued his trip on the left coast today as he spoke to a crowd in San Jose, CA regarding compassionate conservatism. Last night, Bush attended a fund raiser for Simon and raised $2.75 million dollars. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Post 24, Simon looks like Clark Kent, that's why he makes you think goofy and good at the same time.

I will never forget that mental midget Carter when he was asked a question about his Playboy interview and he (out of the blue) admitted he "Lusted" after the women in Playboy :-)
One thing is for sure.... Carter was not the sharpest knife in the drawer

Very well, thanks. We are closing in on the final plan.....I hope! The digging commences in mid May.

Remember how he used to carry his own bags (suitcases) too? What a moron he was.
I'm sorry you voted for him but you seemed to have redeemed yourself. I got lucky. The first president I voted for was none other than Ronnie himself. All my friends - in college - were voting for Anderson (gag!) or Carter. I was the lone Republican and damn proud of it too!

Like I said...dog years.
One thing I like about President Bush is how positive and upbeat he is. He is always telling us that we are a good people, and pointing out all the good things people around him have done. I really appreciate that!

You're forgiven, love. You were just a mere baby. BUT you have learned. So you're pretty smart.

I have heard that it was that very moment when the President got the support of the entire nation, because they knew that he was experiencing the same grief and anger that we were going through..........(well all except the far left peaceniks and the 2%ers on FR! They apparently feel nothing at all.)
This may seem strange to say, but in ways I miss those days when this nation was united in a patriotic fervor that I've never experienced in my post-war baby boomer life. I knew it would end, and I abhor what made it happen, but to me it was the silver lining in that very dark cloud over America.

Okay, you Californians. What's the deal with Simon and not wanting to release his tax returns? Is this a big deal down there? I know the guy is loaded but I understand he is quite a philanthropist as well. You guys know anything?

One thing I like about President Bush is how positive and upbeat he is.And the press made fun of his cheerleading days. When I saw him at ground zero with that megaphone, I thought, "thank God."

I knew he would be a great leader, but he has surpassed my wildest expectations.
I am looking forward to his going to Russia next month. I think my daughter will be in Paris when he stops there...maybe she will get to see him!
