That only indicates that, in each of these cases, they determined that the Palestinian side was right and the Israeli side was wrong. I agree.
Being as Kofi Anan's motivations can be clearly discerned from the actions he takes, which is to consistently decry Israel, without decrying Palestinian attacks against CIVILIAN TARGETS (except one example I found of such a condemnation), it is clear to anyone with a brain that he is motivated against Israel. Since he is obviously motivated against Israel, he would, naturally, take actions that would paint Israel in a bad light whenever possible.
Smearing Kofi Annan won't alter the fact: Israel puts itself in a bad light by blocking the UN's fact-finding mission.
From the AP: "Earlier Tuesday, Israel's security Cabinet--led by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon--voted almost unanimously against letting the investigation proceed unless six conditions were met. U.N. officials contend that some of the Israeli concerns have been addressed, whereas the others cannot or will not be."
The UN refused to meet Israels demands. None of those demands have anything to do with access to any area of Jenin. None of those demands have anything to do with Palestinian witnesses or their testimony. So you lied. They did NOT 'go out of their way' to meet Israels demands.
The UN people did go out of their way to try and overcome Israeli objections. However, they could not be expected to agree to unreasonable Israeli demands that would overly compromise the mission.
The UN is not a body that can evaluate these issues in a responsible manner, and certainly not after it has proven its lack of sincerity by not offering to investigate even one of the terrible terrorist massacres that Israel has suffered at the hands of the Palestinians. NOT EVEN ONE.
That complaint is just a red herring. This UN mission was approved unanimously by the UN Security Council, including the United States. Israel is free to request a separate UN investigation of terrorist attacks in Israel anytime it wants. That shouldn't be allowed to interfere with the UN fact-finding mission to the occupied territories.
The UN has proven its lack of objectivity: Anan has only ONCE denounced the Palestinians for suicide bombings. The UN is extremely anti-Israel and the many condemnations of Israel with no like condemnation of Palestinians is evidence, not of wholesale Israeli evil, but of the lack of objectivity of the UN.
Smearing Kofi Annan won't alter the fact: Israel puts itself in a bad light by blocking the UN's fact-finding mission.
It is not smearing Kofi Anan to call him a politician. Your failure to admit that he is a political animal speaks to your intellectual dishonesty.
The UN people did go out of their way to try and overcome Israeli objections. However, they could not be expected to agree to unreasonable Israeli demands that would overly compromise the mission.
They would have complete and unfettered access to the site where this alleged 'massacre' took place. Unfettered access to the Palestinian witnesses. Limited access to Israeli military units. If I was Anan, I would grab what I could and gather the evidence I could.
The fact he does not belies the probability that he knows no evidence is there.
"The UN is not a body that can evaluate these issues in a responsible manner, and certainly not after it has proven its lack of sincerity by not offering to investigate even one of the terrible terrorist massacres that Israel has suffered at the hands of the Palestinians. NOT EVEN ONE."

BS! It speaks volumes as to the uncompromising anti-Israeli bias of the UN! Man, you are purposely obtuse.
This UN mission was approved unanimously by the UN Security Council, including the United States.
The mission was approved at this meeting, but the makeup of the mission and the players who would do the investigating was NOT in the United State's control. The makeup of the mission was entirely at the discretion of Anan. More and more stridently anti-Israeli investigators were selected, until soon there was little doubt as to the true intention of this mission:
Israel is free to request a separate UN investigation of terrorist attacks in Israel anytime it wants.
Oh please. How far do you think that would get, with all your anti-semitic goons in the UN????
They should do it just to get it on the record, but playing obtuse and pretending it would get anywhere is another example of lying on your part.
