Welcome, young man! You've got a good idea going to community college to get some core courses in before going away to college. It is cheaper, that's for sure! Why pay $600 or more for Freshman English, or Sociology at a big school when you can do the same course for half that at a Community College? In a couple of years, our daughter will do some courses at our local Comm. college to get some dual credits for high school (homeschooled) and college.
